This is one of the oldest Cathedrals in all America, is not as ornate inside as some in central Mexico but craftsmanship outside is amazing More

It is very eyecatching in all the right ways, no way can anyone resist getting a pic of it. It is equally impressive to view day or night. More

Visiti the inside during the day, but definitely Walk by at night when the newly installed exterior lights show the Cathedral even better... More

We went to mass on Sunday at 8:15 in the morning, the church was almost full and we were able to admire a magnificent crucified Jesus Christ that hangs above the altar. More

Attended Mass here on Passion/Palm Sunday. It was very moving to be there with Mayan Mexicans, Spanish Mexicans and fellow gringos - all praying together ignoring the history within these walls. More

Located east side of Grande Plaza. Built in 1561. The architecture style is Moorish on the towers and the interior, but the front is Renaissance. Inside of the compound has San Jose and Rosario Chapels and Ampollas Chapel. More

the history of the Cathedral is amazing-from the building of it to the maintenance and everything else. Mass there was inspiring and seemed to renew my faith. A peaceful, quiet place to sit and meditate despite the hustle and bustle. A must see. More
