The beach is beautiful, and we rented a golf cart for the day for about $45 which was fun and convenient. There was a ton of shopping around that would be great for gifts home, but we were more focused on just enjoying the scenery.

Very nice beach with the ability to snorkel and experience the tropical fish straight from the beach. Plenty of eateries available.

You can rent an umbrella and chairs for $15 a day and there are bars and restaurants on the beach which you could walk up to.

Great soft sand beach, but a lot of stuff going on around you....ferrys and boats coming and going literally 50 ft offshore. We prefer the slightly more isolated beaches with a lot less people crammed in all around you...

Spent the day hanging in the water and beach. Very clean beach and water. Take a cooler with some drinks.

This is where to be in Isla, no real reason to go beyond the north part of the island (except for turtles). Calm blue waters and plenty of beach bars to stop in and rehydrate ;)

Clear blue green water and soft white sand. Our favorite section of the beach is in the middle, by Buho's bar and Cabana Maria Del Mar hotel. For $5 you can get two beach lounge chairs, an umbrella and coupons for water/soda. Food within walking distance. Take a taxi or golf cart ride there and be dropped off within steps... More

This is the place to be for sunshine and some R & R. The beach can get a little crowded so grab a spot early! All non all, it's a great place to settle in for a nice day of sunshine and a dip on the wonderful waters surrounding Isla Mujeres!

The water is crystal clear, like you are in a swimming pool...you can walk out for a very long ways and it only gets to about 4ft.! Beautiful sand beach, and not too many people....except when the boats come on weekends...but early in the mornings and after 5 are pretty empty. Locals come to enjoy the peace. I have been... More

This was a highlight from our Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres. My wife and I camped out underneath an umbrella with a bucket of Tecates, a plate of ceviche and guacamole. We went swimming in the cool and fresh waters. We loved it. Next time we will schedule more time at Playa Norte Isla Mujeres.
