Beautiful Beach

Noting to dislike. Amazing crystal clear, blue water, beautiful wide beach to walk or sun tan on. Lounging chairs expensive.

The good. Beautiful warm water. Sandy bottom with gradual decline into water. The bad. Too crowded! Rows of beach chairs lined up to rent. No breeze. Boats come in too close to swimmers. As in most of Mexico, the vendors are endless.

Have been traveling to Playa Norte for 12 years. The beach sometimes changes a bit, but it stays the same as well. Had a wonderful massage this time too.

North Beach is quite chaotic. The swimming is great, but we've discovered after a number of years that we prefer hotels further south. We are able to walk to North Beach or go further south. The island has so much more to offer than just Playa Norte.

Walked down to see the beach. Very popular place. Does have restaurants and restrooms available. Did not spend the day there.

The warm waters are very soothing. Bring a snorkeling mask and you can watch the fish swim by. Close to restaurants and shopping as well.

Love the island, did not like my choice of hotel but there are numerous alternatives. Lots of development such as new hotels and condos is taking away the character of the place but still an enjoyable beach holiday.

White powder sand, fabulous views to Playa Mujeres and Cancun, wonderful calm surf for swimming and wading. Lovely turquoise water. Good for families with children.
