My wife and I booked the Royal Swim - sea lion, dolphin and manatee interactions. By the time we were done with the sea lion to start the day, we were thrilled with our choice. Sea Lion: You get kisses, you can pet the animal and learn a bit about the creature. Dolphins: Lengthy, close-up interaction allows you to see... more

ROYAL SWIM- small groups and 1 hour in the water with 2 dolphins! I have done simillar dolphin swims but this one took the cake! The trainer "Max" was really charismatic and knowledgeable (really hot too!). There is alot of interaction (with the dolphins); hugs, kisses, petting, shaking "hands", feeding, dorsal fin ride, foot push. There is an opportunity for... more

This was a great place to begin our vacation! Very clean! Friendly staff! Food is ok, but convenient and plentiful. At the beginning of the day, the waiters get you signed up for this. One offered our group a price of $600 pesos, another offered us $475, so haggle! My 8yo and I enjoyed the Dolphin Swim Adventure, booked online... more

We opted for the Royal swim and Garrafon park package, and went with 2 other adults. This was at the end of August 2009. We got picked up from Riviera Maya and dropped off at the Cacun port to board the ferry to Isla Mujures. Was impressed with the boat standard and it was all inclusive so as much drink/food... more

My husband and I and our two children (7 and 9) were thrilled with this outing. We enjoyed the breakfast on the ferry. The staff were great, with cudos to Matteo for giving us tips and refills. We were one of the first groups to swim with the dolphins at 10:30 and we all enjoyed the encounter. The food at... more

I got the excursion at a steal from their website. My best friend and I bought the Swim Adventure and that's exactly what we got! First we departed Cancun and Aqua Tours Marina and we took an hour long boat ride to Isla Mujeres. They served drinks and sweet bread on the boat and you have the choice of walking... more

Went on the trip as our eldest daughter had always wanted to swim with dolphins. The dolphin swim was expensive but not unreasonable - we got a fair amount of time with the animals and did the standard stuff (posing for hugs, pushed/pulled 20m) which was fun to do (once). Rest of the day was at the wildlife/beach park which... more

Dolphin Discovery is purely an economic venture. I was disappointed that the employees weren't well versed on answering simple questions like "how many tricks do the dolphins do?" I would have liked my kids to have learned something important about dolphins but the employees were really geared up for just having them do tricks. What incredible mammals dolphins are! And... more

My wife and I went to Cancun this Summer and spent a full day swimming with the dolphins at Isla Mujeres, a small island 30 minutes away from Cancun. We found Dolphin Discoveries through a site called [--] and had a wonderful experience. Spent the entire day swimming with the most gentle giants in the ocean, zip lining, drinking, and... more

We opted for the Royal Swim which cost $150 per person. Caught the 7:30am ferry from Cancun. Ferry ride includes breakfast of pastries, juice, coffee and tea. Suggest you have an early and hearty breakfast back at your hotel. Ferry ride was approx 45mins, was a slow journey and seas were fairly choppy. On board the ferry, the guide presents... more
