I thoroughly enjoyed our yoga session with Lal. We went as part of a bachelorette party, and our group included people with varying levels of yoga experience. The class was such a well rounded experience, ranging from breathing exercises and learning how to fully relax to some intense core work and a head stand (which I never thought I'd be... More

This is the real deal, not the latest fad yoga. Location is very peaceful. Class level is tailored to participants. Best classes I've been to in many years of yoga.

My daughter and I recently visited Isla Mujeres for a much needed relaxing break. We attended class with Lal and it was such a wonderful experience. I practice yoga regularly but the classes with Lal allowed me an opportunity to learn so much about myself and how my yoga practice balances my life. Thank you, Namaste.

If you are an experienced yogi, go! If you think you can`t do yoga, go! Learn to breathe the way you were born to and change your life. Never too early, never too late. Several classes with excellent yoga teachers every day at Na Balam Hotel. I did the Vastu School of Yoga`s Teacher Training RYT 200. It was 21... More

We spent many mornings at Vastu doing yoga in April and again in May. We do not do Sivinanda practice at home, but are not new to practicing yoga regularly. The practice was beautiful, challenging, and provided so many opportunities to learn something new. One can change in a very positive way by experiencing a new style of yoga. Christell... More

I have visited this island twice and both times had the chance to practice yoga at Vastu. I loved it and can not wait to visit again. In fact, I liked it so much that this summer I took the Sivananda teacher training course which is the style of yoga taught here. If the timing would have worked out I... More

I have walked by this yoga class sign for years and finally this trip to Isla decided to check it out. I had stopped at the Na Balam Hotel before to inquire about the class but they are so snooty there and the staff at the hotel not friendly at all, that I was not inclined to join the class.... More

I came here today completely randomly as I was on a days tour of the island and decided to break off from the group- I'm so glad I did- what an amazing experience, a beautifully taught class where I reached deeper level of practice which I have never experienced before. Would recommend to anyone and I purely want to come... More

Doing Yoga while on vacation is always fun. This Vatsu Yoga has classes everyday. I did a drop in at 9:00 AM. Even in May it was surprisingly cool up in the Yoga Shala. I was greeted by a friendly man who introduced himself as , Lal. He said he was from a yoga family. His parents had both practiced... More
