This was an awesome place to snorkel. It had an abundance of tropical fish and nice structure. I have never seen so many schools of barracuda. I have been diving for 40 years and have never seen so many cuda in one area. I thought it was cool. My wife really doesn't like barracuda, but thought it was also very... More

My husband and boys were able to kayak out here from our hotel. The weather and water had finally calmed down enough for the snorkeling to be good. All over the island the weather had really effected the snorkeling for about a week or so. My kids are 10, 8 and 7. There were able to snorkel around and see... More

Unique experience snorkeling around coral covered rocks around the lighthouse--at snorkeling depth in open sea. Lots of large fish, angels, grunts and snappers. Biggest barracudas I've ever seen.

We wer delighted by how many different types of fish and the number of fish that we saw at El Farito. The coral all looks very healthy too. Barracuda, squid, parrot fish, angel fish, puffers, it was a great trip!

But not great. It was nice to see the coral was still alive, compared to other areas we have snorkeled in Mexico. Where it is dead from either people stepping on it, or bleaching. The fish were plentiful, but not alot of variety. No large marine life to be seen, at least when we were there.

Very interesting snorkel spot. Nice variety of fish and coral. Pretty strong current at times so not for the weak/novice swimmer.

It was well-maintained but nothing stood out to me other than it was a nice scenic overlook for taking family photos.

We loved this part of our snorkel tour. The current is kind of strong so it felt like we were being pulled along. Below is we saw so many different fish. It looked like a fish super highway. It was cool to end near the light house and get pictures of that was well.

We were staying at Playa Mujeres and got the ferry to take us to Isla Mujeres. Once we got off the ferry you will see guys selling excursions. So we got on this one, we went snorkeling, then they take you to observe people swimming with dolphins, you get to go into a corral and touch a shark!! You will... More
