I visited Isla Mujeres in August 2014 and swimming with whale sharks was definitely the highlight of my stay on the island! I knew that it was whale shark season on Isla Mujeres before I came out to Mexico, so this was definitely something I planned to do. I chose Mundaca Divers because they were recommended in my travel guide... More

I have been diving with Mundaca Divers over 5 years now and just can't say enough good about them. Went out to see the whale sharks and it was amazing. There were about 30 boats grouped all together, but the captain "Alfredo" took us just outside of the boats. He would see which way they were swimming and position the boat... More

Thanks so much to Mundaca Divers, and especially our tour guide Isaac, for an incredible experience snorkelling with the beautiful giant whale sharks. The day was perfect and we felt totally safe and secure (good local knowledge, equipment, professional...) Ended the day on north beach with ceviche and beers - could not have asked for more. Would have loved to... More

I ended up doing 3 days of activities with Mundaca divers. The dive masters and guides are excellent and the highlight was the whale shark tour. Pedro demonstrated great respect for the whale sharks and his customers. Isaac took great care of his divers and was fun too. They made it all easy for me, looking after my gear overnight.... More

My fiancé and I have just returned from a whale shark tour booked through Mundaca Divers. The service offered by the company's owner was the worst we have experienced in our six months of travel through South and Central America. We chose Mundaca based on their reviews and reputation. Clearly these things mean nothing to the company. The night before... More

Did a two-tank reef dive with Isaac. The fact that he went out even though it was just the two of us spoke about the company. I think most dive shops would have just rescheduled for a different day. The equipment was good, regulators and BCs were all good quality. The captains really make the dive as they know exactly... More

We did 2 Tank dive with our 3 kids. The First was Museo (interesting but not too exiting) and the Second was Manchones (really impressing reef with a good amount of fish and species) Both at 10-12 metres so at least 45 min to enjoy. Good and friendly stuff, equipment fine

We went diving for two days with Mundaca, and had a great experience. As advanced/experienced divers, we were able to dive the battleship and a nice reef one day, Punta Sur and another reef/bommie the second day. Both days were great diving. The reefs are like a living aquarium with so many fish it was mind-boggling. The wreck was very... More

We sought out Mundaca based upon the very high TA reviews. They were not our first choice, but were going out diving on the Sunday we arrived. Our DM, Patricia, proved inexperienced and a poor DM. Luckily all divers on the boat were fairly experienced and the dives were shallow and in good weather conditions. The real hoot was when... More

Two dives, very nice and beautiful. There are an army of cool statuses and other stuff underwater, and a beautiful reef. Great equipment, very professional and nice people at the store. Personally, i was diving with pedro, he was the best! Awesome guy, professional and very funny! Very recommended!!
