Professional and well organized, with incomparable service. TripAdvisor isn't the place for long stories, but this merits an exception: We arrived on Isla 2 days after our wedding and booked afternoon dives with Mundaca. We couldn't have asked for a better afternoon of diving, at least until my husband of 48 hours lost his new wedding ring 50 ft underwater... More

This has been my 8th trip in the last 4 four years to dive with Mundaca, so yes I am a repeat customer. Lalo and Alfonso are excellent dive masters. Constantly concerned for your safety. The boat captain Alfredo is the best. When you finish a dive, he is always close by, doesn't matter if the water is rough or... More

We are two adventurous girls (because we wear adventure sandals) who dive 2 days with Mundaca Divers. We just loved everything! Our safety is their priority. They know by heart the best places do dive in Isla Mujeres. If you have the chance, ask for Lalo, this guide is great!! We recommand at 110% this dive shop!! Laurence and Dominique

I walked into Mundaca Divers after stopping by 3 other closed dive shops on Sept 8th 2014 and was able to arrange a dive trip that morning with 2 Germans I had met the day before, Alfonso was awesome! We were all diving at 11 am. I rented excelent equipment with the Germans. Alfonso was enthusiastic, funny and quite the... More

Great dive shop. We went to every dive shop on the Isla Mujeres and this is the best. If you get drunk the night before that is your fault not the dive shops, if you get sea sick that is your problem not the dive shops. Alfonso our Dive Master was great. The shop is a little more expensive than... More

Went diving to the wreck, the dive was amazing however I couldnt do the second dive that I had already paid for due to sea sickness. Before the dive nothing was explained about me getting no money back even if I didnt use my tank. So essentially I paid 95 US dollars for one dive and some sea sickness. When... More

This dive shop goes way beyond the call of duty. They gave us a group discount for the 5 of us. They came to our hotel and transported all of our dive gear down to the boat. The dive instructor that guided us through the reefs knew the dive sites like the back of his hand. His dive briefs were... More

It was the first time we dive under the surface of the sea. What’s a marvelous experience! We visited the underwater museum, played with lobster, octopus, ray and other colorful fish. Lalo is the dive master of my sister and me. He taught us from the very beginning and helped us to fit for diving equipment and unknown environment. He... More

Dare I say it, Mundaca is hands down THE best to dive and snorkel with. I am not a diver (yet), but my husband and I found ourselves with our diver friends after a week already on the coast of Mexico for their wedding before we came here. That said, our experience with Alfonso and his team including William, Victor,... More

We just returned from the Isla Mujeres (que lastima) after an extraordinary trip. This was due in no small part to Mundaca Divers. We dived three days, as well as having an amazing Tuesday whale shark experience. Do not sign up with those big commercial operations that send 10 swimmers in at a time to harass the animals for photo... More
