Snorkeled, zipped lined, ate and drank and just relaxed. Beautiful place and the water was great. We just ate snack bar food but the nachos and wings were tasty.

I was disappointed that they don't let you get close enough to the reef to see many fish. The zip-line is over the water and looked fun. The lounge chair bedding is dirty and moldy. The food and drinks was just so-so. We enjoyed the walk around the park to the art exhibit and experiencing the caves. Glad I went... More

My wife and I wanted to go snorkeling and decided upon Garrafon; what a mistake. Roughly forty dollars US per person, so not a cheap excursion. The water is rough, and as a person who doesn't experience motion sickness often, I left the water after roughly fifteen minutes. The reef and aquatic sights were a major let-down. Sure, we saw... Paid $120 for two which includes food and snorkel. There is no reef at all.We saw one zebra fish.Life jackets are mandatory which sucks for experienced swimmers.Food was nasty. What ticked me off the most was the advertisement pic of a girl snorkeling through a reef and tons of fish.Trust me,no reef, no fish.

I have been to Garrafon when it was just a thatched hut with a monkey on the outside, but those days are gone... it is overdeveloped but the view and being in the water on the South end of the island is amazing and the all inclusive package is good for a full day of activity. We had a great... More

this was a fun park. You can go zip lining which we didnt do, but it was fun to watch and listen to all the people who did it (the burly men who scream like little girls lol) you can relax in hammocks that have a great view of the water. There is a sweat lodge, and it looked interesting... More

We had never been to the Reef Park before on our other trips, but it was one of the perks of staying at the Palace, so we went for the day. We really enjoyed it. The snorkeling was ok, and the trails were just beautiful.

I first came to Isla Mujeres in 1995, back then Garrafon Natural Reef park was wild, with a hut on the beach for a bar and toilets. There were lots of fish in the reef, it was spectacular snorkelling. They then tried to convert the whole thing into a big attraction that ended up destroying the reef. There are almost... More
