We had never been to the Reef Park before on our other trips, but it was one of the perks of staying at the Palace, so we went for the day. We really enjoyed it. The snorkeling was ok, and the trails were just beautiful.

I first came to Isla Mujeres in 1995, back then Garrafon Natural Reef park was wild, with a hut on the beach for a bar and toilets. There were lots of fish in the reef, it was spectacular snorkelling. They then tried to convert the whole thing into a big attraction that ended up destroying the reef. There are almost... More

It's a very nice setting but like so much of mainland Cancun has lost the real Mexican authenticity to commercial interests. I find it hard actually to find an economic fault with this, it's how people survive and thrive but I had been there many years before the zip lines were installed when it was jus a beautiful park to... We booked through the travel agent at the resort we were staying at, she suggested a half day pass since it was already mid morning. We started at the buffet for lunch, which was included with our admission. The bartender and other staff were very friendly and kept are drinks full. There are plenty of chairs on the beach and... This is a very expensive excursion for what you really get. We wanted to experience everything on the island and we were excited to go. It's practically on the tip of the South side and from the North, it's about an 80 pesos taxi ride. The zip line was fun and I felt safe. It was the first time I... More

Spend your money on a tour that will take you on a WAY BETTER excursion and you will see way more wildlife . The zip line is extra on top of the entrance and so is the lunch , snorkeling is basically just looking at sand.,
