Garrafon is beautiful. You have many options for activities but you don't have to do anything but eat a great lunch and lounge in a hammock or pool. The sculpture garden at the top of the cliff (Punta Sur) was the best part. Gorgeous sculptures in an amazing setting. I do not believe in the swimming with the dolphins aspect,... More

We stumbled on this park while doing a golf park tour by going a wrong way. We saw the zip line and stopped to ask if you were able to enter and only do this one activity as we were leaving sometime the next morning. We were told we could so arrived when the park opened the next morning before... More

We stayed at the Isla Mujeres Palace Hotel and used their dive shop run by Arturo who along with his assistant and boat driver took such good care of us and made the diving experience outstanding. The reefs although small were very healthy and teeming with fish, turtles, sting rays and beautiful stag horn coral. It was also easy diving... More

We enjoyed snorkeling, but we didn't see as much as we would have liked. There was some reef, but it was a lot of statues and things. We preferred to see the reefs and fish over the statues.

Paying $63 per person to do something you can do for FREE everywhere on the island is a great gig...if you can get it. I'm amazed people actually do it. There is nothing special about this place. The reefs you can find everywhere else. Only to be done if you've never been anywhere ot seen anything. Even Playa Norte is... More

Firstly this place has a lot of potential but not if it's run like it is at present. The plus factors are the zip lines. You have to queue for quite a long time but it is well worth it as they are massive and actually start on a cliff, go out to sea and back to the beach. It's... More

The view is beautiful but that's about it. My entire family did not like this experience and we won't be going back. We did not do the all inclusive package, just the scuba diving which was $32 per person. In my opinion, too much for what we got. First of all we had to stand in line for about twenty... More

I paid for the all inclusive VIP package which was about $85 US dollars. I enjoyed our day there exploring, but I will not visit the park again. The snorkeling was mediocre at best, only saw a few fish here and there. I felt very confined in the small roped off area. The zip lining was exciting and thrilling but... More

I visited Garrafon National Reef Park with my Husband and his Family in February 2014. After a pleasant ferry ride where our guide explained what was available to do on the island we placed our bags in the lockers, received our towels and raced to the beach to snorkel and cool off. The coral is protected by a rope you... More
