Thank God this was free! You have to pay for your locker. Walk down to the snorkel area. THEN they tell you that you have to pay for fins and snorkels. The waves were extremely bad and maybe should have not allowed snorkeling that day. I went out half way and turned back. It took me 10 minutes to struggle... More

This is our second visit to this area on Isla Mujeres. The trip is well organised and the ferry staff are pleasant and professional. The Garrafon area is located on the southern tip of the island. The docks and locker areas have been well-maintained and a VIP locker-pool-restaurant area has been added. The dolphin show is still running at full... More

Small park with small ruins but worth it. The water was beautiful and the small walk is easy to do. Had some sculptures and the walk down has a beautiful arch to frame a picture in it

Garrafon Park is great for a first time snorkeling experience. Plenty of colorful fish nibbling on a reef. Easy access into the water under watchful eyes of Park staff. The banks of the cove provide comfortable seating on lounge chairs or on the grass. Food can be purchased at a couple of venues. Restrooms are clean and accessible. For the... More

Worth every penny! This was the best part of the entire trip! Isla Mujeres is gorgeous and the resort gives you the opportunity to bask in its glory. We were able to snorkel, swim in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, relax in cabanas and hammocks and enjoy inclusive food and alcoholic drinks. We could have swam with dolphins and... More

We were here 20 years ago and there was not much besides the site itself. Now it is built up into a theme park style place. It is quite well done if you enjoy that sort of thing. Probably a cool place for kids and first time snorkelers. We are divers and came back for nostalgic reasons. No fish that... More

I went to Cancun with friends, but they wanted to stay at the resort, so I ended up doing this day trip on my own and had an amazing time and a lovely tan! First, we got on a catamaran from Cancun to the Garrafon park, which is in Isla Mujeres - spent all morning there, had a great time... More

I went to this park with my girlfriend to spend the day before swimming with the dolphins at 3:30 pm. The place is really nice, very good infra-structure, but is not that special. It is cool because it is all inclusive, you can drink and eat all you want, the pools are nice. The snorkeling at the park is good... More

This is our third trip to the island and our grandchildren always look forward to the day we go to Garafon. the snorkeling is amazing and they are really into the fish, the beach is small but enjoyable and they always get a kick out of the iguanas. The food and service is excellent and they have showers and bathrooms... More
