We got this included in our Royal Swim package with dolphin discovery and that part alone was fantastic. We then all got pre-payed taxis to Garrafon park so everything there was free. First of all we went to the buffet which was very nice, we must have hit a good day according to these comments? All tasty, fresh and very... more

They didn't mention that the water was too rough to kayak that day... they also didn't tell us it was too rough to snorkel, they let us figure that out for ourselves which was pretty dangerous... our son was too young to do the zip line... so the only "attraction" we got for our money was sitting in the pool,... more

Live in Cancun and last Saturday did the annual swim from Cancun point to Isla Mujeres. This year we landed at Garrafon. Before I could even get my energy reserves in gear and even get dried, at least 10 staff continually harrassed me insisting I buy the day pass which suposedly had been included in our swim contest. That aside,... more

Garrafon Park is located on the Southwestern part of Isla Mujeres where the shoreline is rocky and somewhat mountainous. When we visited Garrafon we were already staying on the island so we did not utilize their ferry or bus service. Also, having experienced zip-lines in the rain forests of Costa Rica, we did not pay the extra to zip-line in... more

We visited the island 3 years ago and toured the island on the golf cart. We stumbled upon Garrafon, which was closed at the time, and decided we must visit on our next trip. It was not a disappointment. I had my reservations, based on some reviews. But we had a wonderful time. We did the zip line twice, snorkeled,... more

Booked an all inclusive day trip to Isla Mujeres at the Riu Palace hotel that included Garrafon Park. 45 minute boat ride from Cancun with plenty of drinks and food. Opted to go to Garrafon Reef rather than swim with dolphins which was crowded. They also had manatees and sharks. Snorkeling on the reef was ok but they make you... more

We went here with a group of 13, which included adult and teenagers. For the most part, it was a bust. The park was very crowded with lines to do the zip lines, get snorkel equipment and to eat the buffet lunch. The zip lines were moderately fun but really too tame for pretty much all of our group. The... more

We recently went to Cancun with our kids ages 10 & 13 and wanted to do a day trip with activities the children would enjoy. Our Hotel reccommended Garraffon. The trip started with breakfast on the boat, on the way over to Isla Mujeres. We took a taxi a short 5 minutes to the location and WOW, it was absolutely... more

Garrafon Park is absolutely horrible to deal with. We had paid in full using Gray Line Tours for a trip to Garrafon Park for 4 people which cost $360. Hurricaine Ike swept along the Yucatan Coast on 09/10 the day we were supossed to go. The morning started out nice enough but on our trip across to the Island it... more

We went there in mid-July. Not worth it at all. We heard that the Royal Dolphin Swim at Isla was the best so we ended up going. The dolphin experience was pretty good but I'm not sure spending most of the day on Isla was worth it. Since we were already on the island, we went to Garrafon intending to... more
