“Relaxed beach, great snorkling & food”

If you are looking for an intimate atmosphere with snorking and good food for an incredible value this is it. We visited in April from Carnival Dream. This was our 3rd trip to Playa Uvas and we still love it!! In fact, I cannot imagine going anywhere else when our ship stops in Cozumel. Great way to avoid the crowds and hang with the locals. Not the Ritz, but you get much more than you pay for. $8 to get in and you get that in drink credits. More

We booked with Playa Uvas online before leaving for our cruise on Voyager of the Seas as recommended by experienced tripadvisors. We were a group of 10 friends who booked this excursion through shoretrips.com. We arrived from port via taxivan(22.00 for 8 people) plus a cab for 10.00 for the remaining 2 of us. WE took a $10 cab ride to Playa Uvas from the cruise ship. For $8 we rec'd beach chairs, $8 worth of vouchers to be used in the restaurant, snorkel gear (snorkel tour also included...but we went on our own)The beach is rocky but there is access via sand bags.
