While in Cozumel we spent 2 whole days at this beach. Free entry. It's quiet, but not too quiet. Access to food and drink, a little on the pricey side for Mexico, but not too bad.Gorgeous, clear, calm waters, perfect for snorkelling. Not many people snorkel all the way out to the buoy there, but when I did one day... More

We've been to Cozumel about 5 times. When we cruise we choose not to book excursions through the ship. We got off the ship, told a taxi we were looking for a beach that was on the quieter side that had food, a bar and snorkeling. This is where he brought us. No charge to get in. Free padded beach... There seemed to be lots of options here on this beach, but we went strictly for the snorkel tour of the Columbia & Palancar reefs. Definitely pay in cash if you are in the mood to haggle for prices (though they weren't too expensive anyway); there are lot of little tourist-trinket stands here. There was an outdoor bar/restaurant type place... More

We arrived in Cozumel via cruise and had made no plans other then go to the beach. However, the day of our arrival (and the whole week for that matter) was extremely windy, so most beaches were closed or just unsafe. We found the tour guide at the end of our pier and he stated this was the only place... More

No charge to get in & easy to get to. We had rented a jeep and drove ourselves and were able to find with no problem. A young man brought us loungers and got our drinks for us, he was very attentive without being bothersome. Very scenic and serene, we really enjoyed our day off the ship here.

No entry fee, beautiful beach, food and drinks not as cheap as other places, but there is no pressure. Just order something if you want to use their beach chairs. Excellent service, clean bathroom, little souvenir huts there also.

This was by far the best spot to swim on the island that we experienced in our week staying there. Would not recommend it for children or people who are not strong swimmers since there is a very strong current, but it's wonderful to play in the surf. You can walk for miles on the white sand beaches, there is... More

We rented a car one day and sort of just stumbled upon this beach club by chance. So several days later we took a cab from Iberostar over to this beach for a few hours. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! We found lounge chairs on the beach, cold beer and shopping. I bought beautiful a beautiful dress for only $15. After... More

Food might be a little slow coming out but the fish tacos are WORTH it. And they make a good adult margarita. Nice place to sit and relax.

Was on cruise ship and wanted to go to beach. We were referred by others to check out Playa Palancar. My first time visiting and I truly enjoyed. It was very peaceful, not crowded, great food and margaritas.
