Nice little Catholic church

Nothing touristy about it, rather a cozy little Catholic church. Plenty to do around, and do not miss the "Michoacana" ice cream, they are really good on a hot day.

The street was on remodelation. But inside it was very traditional and pretty. I really enjoyed visiting it! The fact that was real close to the main avenue and port, was a big plus !

I came by and walked into the church by chance during Sunday night mass. Beautiful church. Rotating fans and no AC contributes to the experience and ambiance. I speak Spanish so I understood the mass just fine. Pretty neat experience.

We have been going to Cozumel for 24 years. We have gone to church every time we are there. I understand some Spanish but am a lifelong Catholic so I can deduce what's being said most of the time. The sermon is usually hard to decipher. I love how small it is and how devout the kids are here. Many... More

My wife and I attended 8 pm Sunday mass at this pretty little church in the middle of San Miguel. The mass was all in Spanish, and beware, there are no air conditioners. Oscillating fans were on, but it was still warm.

Nothing crazy for tourist standpoint though major renovations for surrounding area in the works that looks to be great. If your looking for nice catholic mass experience its very nice. Mass times posted clearly and plenty near it to do before/ after

This is a very cool old Mexican Church that is not very elaborate. The inside is all yellow tones from the sun coming through the yellow stained window panes. The altar is beautiful and simple. If you are in town, you should stop by.

We attended mass and a baptism at La Iglesia de San Miguel. The music was beautiful. It is not a grand cathedral but a more typical Mexican church but charming. If you are looking for a church to attend while on vacation, we felt very welcome at San Miguel. Of course, the service is in Spanish.

If you have never seen an old church before, this is a good place to start. All subsequent ones will seem spectacular by comparison.
