a lot like other tourist centers for the cruisers. Many shops with pushy workers who attempt to get you to stop in their shops. Don't make eye contact and you'll be okay. Bars galore. By afternoon=plenty of drunks. Still. if your looking for a take home item=stop and always barter.

Not a lot but being harassed by locals to buy things. We would have skipped this if we could. We would not recommend it.

The Plaza Central is the center point of Cozumel. It is currently under construction, however it will be the first place you see when you exit the ferry terminal directly across the main avenue. When you go right from the ferry you are heading south to Cruise Ship terminals and south beaches. When you go left you are heading north... More

Don't wear heels girls until the construction is over! 7 months or so, but should be nice when complete.

As with most other cruise ports there are many vendors selling their locally made goods. After an adventure filled day it was nice to come back here grab a coffee and peruse through the stores to find some souvenirs to bring home to my kids. There are a few bars located in that area too so if you want to... More

Surrounded by banks, retail establishments, the church, and many streets to wander, the Plaza makes a great base for families or groups to meet after exploring on their own . It is convenient to the ferry terminal and the transportation hub for San Miguel.

Yup, the same type of shopping arcade that you will find in most caribbean places, but we had fun with the adventure...new cultural art and beautiful creations - and lovely people. They were very friendly, and we did not find they were overly pushy. You can bargain with them, but we seldom do - they work so hard for what... More

Just a fun place to shop and walk, so much going on that it's difficult to see everything at one visit. Oh well, guess we have to back soon! Can't wait for another chance to visit

There is always something going on on this plaza. Peddlers with jewelry, street vendors with water, hats, sandals. There was a guy throwing knives and another one break dancing. You can get henna tattoo for $5 (or more depending how complicated it is). Plenty of bars to stop by for a cold cerveza or a snack. One can seat and... More

We lived the Plaza Central. So many things to see and do. The shops carry the same thing over and over. We came across some very aggressive salespeople. But the produce and food carts were great! Definitely a must!
