We got some drinks here and rented surfboards from Machito. There was a four-piece band playing for tips, and they made the place really fun. The beach here is awesome! Lots of good stuff in the gift shop, too.

We were brought to Punta Morena as a part of a guided tour we were on. There were eight of us in the group-three with food allergies. That proved to not be a problem. They prepared a dish that the three of us with allergies could eat and it turned out to be wonderfully delicious. The rest of our party... More

Have alway liked it here. A few years ago vendors on beach got on my nerves. Hoping they stay at the entrance. The service and people are great. I love the tidal pool, drinks and waves, excellent. Only have had chicken fajitas here, all lunches are just a prelude to a fine island food for us.

Instead of being shuffled around with all the other people on the cruise ship's over-priced excursions, we rented Jeeps (about $100) and drove around the island to this lovely little beach club. It had plenty to offer for our group of 17 ranging in age from 5-45. The seafood was amazingly fresh and delicious, and very reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed... More

I really hate to review this place as unlike the previous review I liked the fact that it wasn't very crowded. The drinks were reasonable and the food was good and cheap, although we did just order wings and fries for a snack but must say they both were very good and the wings were some of the best I... More

Still beautiful, still calming but has lost the charm of yester year. It was THE place to chill back in the day with the old concrete cabanas. Now, the over priced tasteless food and over pushy wait staff is quite the turn off. The addition of the pool is a nice touch, but overloaded with local kids. Will always stop... More

Seems the end of the world, not crowded and easy access. The restaurant serves very good local food if you are patient! A beach to recommend.

This is the a perfect beach in Cozumel to spend the day!!! Rent a car and drive around the island until you reach Punta Morena. There is a pretty good restaurant where you can sit, eat and relax while watching the beautiful ocean waves; choose your own spot at the beach under a "palapa", swim at your pleasure either at... This is a stunning location - just beautiful. Miles of deserted beach, beautiful blue waters. There is a small pool and a wading pool. Food was ok - average. Service was also average. My main concern is that the toilets didn't flush and there was no water in the sinks for washing hands. Ugh. There were very few tourists there... More
