Enjoyed a great day at Punta Morena. Had the fish tacos. Excellent. Best place to go while in Cozumel. Pool was nice and cool and drinks were great. Great Value

Make sure you have a drink at the Punta Morena Beach Club! This spot at the club and the little inlet next to it was my favorite place on the whole island. It was deserted except for the wait staff and drinks were cheap and cold. Sitting ocean front at one of their tables, open air toward ocean, it was... More

Our cruise ship had stopped at Cozumel. My wife and I decided to take a private shore excursion. As a part of our tour we specifically asked to have lunch at a good restaurant but also one that didn't cater just to tourists. We wanted some local flavor. We ended up at the Punta Morena Beach Club Restaurant. Great choice.... More

My wife and were visiting Cozumel with a cruise line. On our shore excursion we asked to eat at a place where the locals might go. We ended up at the Punta Morena Beach Club. It is also a restaurant. We loved it. Excellent food. Outstanding beach. A band, iguana, parrot, and more. Fun. This is a wonderful place to... More

I went to Cozumel on a cruise and we stopped at Punta Morena after going to the mayan ruins. It was January 2013. The beach is beautiful, the water is clear and the restaurant is also good with a reasonable price. I had fish tacos. The beans and rice were yummy. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to enjoy the... More

We've been here a couple times now, usually on a pub crawl. Drinks are on par with everyplace else on this side of the island. I had some octopus and it was good, not great. The venue is the star here, nice beach with some protected water you can actually get into. Nice pool, very relaxing.

Four of us stopped here on a tour of the east side of the island. It's a lovely spot -- fully powered by wind and solar power, since there's no electricity on that area of the island. It's large, airy, modern but still islandy, clean bathrooms, good food (a bit pricey, but still worth it). Lots to do outside for... More

We got some drinks here and rented surfboards from Machito. There was a four-piece band playing for tips, and they made the place really fun. The beach here is awesome! Lots of good stuff in the gift shop, too.

We were brought to Punta Morena as a part of a guided tour we were on. There were eight of us in the group-three with food allergies. That proved to not be a problem. They prepared a dish that the three of us with allergies could eat and it turned out to be wonderfully delicious. The rest of our party... More

Have alway liked it here. A few years ago vendors on beach got on my nerves. Hoping they stay at the entrance. The service and people are great. I love the tidal pool, drinks and waves, excellent. Only have had chicken fajitas here, all lunches are just a prelude to a fine island food for us.
