Me and my bf went to Cozumel on a cruise ship and took a ten minute taxi ride from the port exit to The Money Bar. The staff and owner there were very personable and made us feel at home right away. I had a dry snorkel, but rented fins, and I spent almost the entire day in the water.... more

We visited The Money Bar on 8/12/09. We took a taxi from the International Pier, which cost about $8. Everyone at The Money Bar made us feel welcome and at ease. There is no cover charge. We ordered cerveza and guacamole while the kids snorkled. The water was crystal clear. They saw lots of fish and plant life. The beach... more

We were originally supposed to go to the Beach Club across the street, but they hadn't opened yet. So, we looked and saw the Money bar with the attached snorkeling rental hut and thought, "Why not?" Locker rental was 24 pesos. You change (if you need to) in the restaurant bathroom. We both got the fins/mask/vest/snorkel rental package for 168... more

We were at the Money Bar (used to be Dzul Ha) on two different days in late April 2009. We went for snorkeling the first day, and were at first unimpressed with the snorkeling right off the shore of the restaurant. Wound up staying for dinner and thought the food and service were great, and we were pleasantly surprised with... more

My husband I traveled via Carnival Legend to the Money Bar in April 2009. We took a short taxi ride from port to the Money bar. We ordered lunch and drinks while soaking in the beautiful blue water. We ordered chips and salsa and a club sandwich that was massive! It was not very crowded the day we visited and... more

The Money Bar was just a short walk from our hotel and looked promising. We went there for dinner and immediately knew we were going to be underwhelmed. All American fare on the menu with a few Mexican dishes thrown in for good measure. The food was blah and the service was so so. They also included a paltry gratuity... more
