During our day in Cozumel our driver took us to Kaokao Chocolate Factory. It's off the beaten path in a local neighborhood. Our visit began with a nice cup of coffee. The factory and store were very cute and clean and the owner was wonderful. Since we were only there for a short time we did not take the tour.... More

Spent about 90 minutes at the Chocolates Kaokao Factory tour. Everybody was super nice and friendly. Our group really enjoyed making chocolate from scratch and learning about the whole process. We will return in the future.

We did the Joy of Chocolate Tour which was actually at Discover Mexico Park. The tour was insightful our tour guide Arturo really knew his stuff in regards to culture and the history of the country, we also got to see some very neat art pieces. Then came the chocolate. It began with chocolate martinis, then a chocolate drink, then... More

Wonderful time tasting delicious chocolate in this quaint little factory! We must've tried over 20 samples and each one was yummy! If you've got a couple minutes, we highly recommend stopping in, sampling, and then making a purchase to take home!

Tour driver (private driver) took us to this very small but very cool chocolate shop. From start to finish, the whole deal was represented. It was in the heart of Cozumel, but you would have to know where to go to find it. Many varieties of chocolate where available. You only stay 15 min. or so, but very nice sideline... More

What a little gem this place is! We were not really expecting to receive such a warm welcome and very informational chat with Victor. Excellent! And making our own chocolate discs.....so much fun!!! Victor explained everything so well and supervised us constantly. He then did a superb chocolate tasting. Great experience for this chocoholic. The surroundings were so colorful and... More

My wife and I took this tour last week and had a wonderful time. It is actually more of a class than a tour per se. It starts with a delicious chocolate martini - not a bad way to start the day! You will learn of how important chocolate was to the Mayans. You then make your own chocolate using... More

We came into Coz on a cruise ship and this tour isn't offered so it's a "make your own arrangements" tour. Hence, cheaper. Taxi to/from the Port was $22 for up to 4 people. The taxi drivers know where this is so you don't have to print out the map. My 18-year-old son & I took the $15pp tour and... More

My family and I stayed over in Playa del Carmen and decided to spend a day in Cozumel....this was a fantastic way to experience culture while also satifying our love of chocolate! We took the ferry from the Playa del Carmen to Cozumel which is about 45 minutes ride then we took a taxi about $8 (per ride not per... More
