This was our 3rd time to Cozumel and this tour was the best we have been on.Current price is $10.00 will spend about 1 hour on tour. A wonderful husband and wife run bussiness. Great history of chocolate history by the owner who is passionate about his product. Then a hands on experience as your guide will show you how... More

I learned so much about chocolate! The history of chocolate is disturbing and fascinating. Rubi (not sure of spelling), took us on our tour and history lesson. She was awesome! Me, my wife and our 13 year old daughter enjoyed making our own chocolate. Not to mention the incredible tasting of chocolate at the end of the tour. MMMMMM. This... More

Fun, informative tour. Ruby explained all about the history of chocolate, and we actually ground some coca beans and made a patty of chocolate suitable for making hot chocolate. Informative & fun.

Was more like a workshop than a tour. Learned the history of Mexican chocolate and actually made chocolate and then learned how to pair wine and chocolate. Very interesting and ended with a delicious mole enchilada!

My family of 8, including our 3 year old and 12 year old, took a 10 minute (cost $22 US) taxi ride to the quaint KaoKao Chocolate Factory from the Punta Langosta pier in Cozumel when we disembarked our NCL cruise ship. We had booked at a cost of $10 U.S. per person to avoid the $49 cruise excursion offer.... More

My daughter and I visited the factory on Saturday, January 3rd, while in port on the Carnival Elation. While we weren’t able to participate in one of the tours, we still got a “personalized” tour of sorts from the lady in the chocolate store. She gave us a little history and told us how the chocolate is made, and we... More

My husband and I did not fancy going scuba diving or swimming with dolphins so we went for the chocolate tour. It was a good choice, the guide took us round a park to explain something of the history of Mexico and then we say the Mexicans who climb up a tall pole and swing their way down. We then... More

This tour was "ok." Definitely not what we expected. First, there's a lot of walking and standing so if you have limited mobility, you'll get tired before you even get to make the chocolate. The museum area is nice, and interesting. When you get to the "work" room to make the chocolate, it's set up with one grinder for two... More

It was a wonderful attraction that we took. We did the 11 am excursion on our trip to Cozumel on a cruise. It was only $10 a person, but book fast because they only have 10 people per trip. First off, take a taxi! It may be $20 but it also means not having to walk in a sketchy part... More

Our tour driver took us here and while we did not do the full tour, he walked us into the back of a group that just started the tasting. AMAZING chocolate. The chili pepper chocolate is to die for! The white chocolate turned my kid into a white chocolate fanatic (he's a milk chocolate kid). I'm a little sorry we... More
