We went on the tour because it was raining the entire week we were in Cozumel, and we needed something to take our minds off of that. I was so pleasantly surprised. The tour is the right mix of education and fun. I had my 2 1/2 year old with me and she had a great time (despite the fact... More

Don't let the walled exterior fool you. Inside is a beautiful courtyard filled with lush landscaping, decorative wall hangings, and charming small buildings that make up the lecture area, kitchen, and store. Interesting history of chocolate, and fun hands-on experience making your own chocolate to take home with you. Everyone is really friendly, and the chocolate bars for sale are... More

Any person who love chocolate needs to have a tour and tasting here. We made our own chocolate to take home and learned about the origins and discovery of cacao as a food! I have greater respect now for spider monkeys. Go on the tour if you want to know why.

A little off the beaten path but a great experience nonetheless. I enjoyed this much better than the commercial Hershey Pennsylvania experience and it only cost $25 for the 3 of us to go. Our tour guide Joseph went through both the history and chemistry involved in making chocolate in a very entertaining and amusing way. Afterwards we all participated... More

Four of us had a wonderful tour at this family run chocolate factory - it was both informative and hands on, you could sense the love that the employees have for this company. We made our own little chocolate dish, and made our mark on the chocolate shop - so many great flavors!! And they make great mementos from a... More

7 of us (3 adults and 4 kids) went to this tour after reading about it on tripadvisor. We booked online and were met by Ruby at the start of our tour. She is a very nice lady and took us through the 1 hour tour and tasting. You start with learning about the different ingredients in chocolate and then... More

If you love chocolate, this one is for you. We learned how cacao was discovered in Cozumel and about the entire process of making chocolate. We even got to make our own and were able to try a variety of chocolates in the store. BTW, even if you don't have to use the bathroom, be sure to wash your hands.... More

Please note that you want to purchase your tickets 1 month in advance if you have a group of 8 or more as the rooms hold about 12 guests. We booked this tour based on reviews with trip advisor and we were not disappointed! The owners have great pride and passion about chocolate and the hands on experience is worth... More

This was a wonderful worthwhile excursion in Cozumel for our family. Taxi cost $10 for 4 people from Punta Langosta cruise port. This is a very interesting and delicious way to learn about Mayan culture and it is off the beaten tourist path. The youngest kids in our tour were around 9 or 10 and everyone had a great time....
