We visited Chankanaab Park from Cozumel Palace, so we had our own personal guide. We also were able to use snorkel gear for free. Our first activity was snorkeling along the shore. We visited several underwater statues that were placed there. It was a very interesting experience to swim into the murky water, where the fresh water met the salt... More

My family and I visited Chankanaab Park in Cozumel this past weekend (April 2014) and had a fantastic time. We booked this "Push, Pull, Swim" Dolphin experience through Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. We picked the earliest time available (8:30 am) and so glad that we did. We were the first group to the park which was nice since... More

I have visited the Park on a number of occasions. The one aspect that I can highly recommend is the walk through Mexican history - a small number of artifacts reflecting the culture including the little village. I was pleased to see a Temascal there, but other than it being a nicely presented Temascal for seeing, I do not recommend... More

We took a quick taxi ride to the park and didn't need to wait in a line at all! We were with a cruise, but did not sign up for the excursion through Royal Caribbean. Our cruise was unable to stop at Grand Cayman the day before, so they signed us up for a free manatee encounter along with our... More

My family and I went to Chankanaab in hopes of seeing some of Mexico's natural beauty and entertaining the kids. To make a long story short...we paid for our children to take rides down a ramp in a zorb. BEWARE! There is no stop of any kind at the bottom of the ramp. In retrospect, I see how crazy and... More

They were great to my son, who swam with the dolphins and manatees. Great drinks, try the black monkey. Easy place to relax.

We swam with the manatees and dolphins at Chankanaab. It was a wonderful experience. Chankanaab is a very beautiful place with a swimming pool, beach area, bi-lingual animal shows and many other things. Online we found a deal for the manatee and dolphin show that came with a nice lunch. The manatees were my favorite!

I wondered if I was going to be redundant going to both parks in one week but they are so different, there is no comparison. I was so pleasantly surprised walking towards the beach of Chankanaab...very uncrowded and a waiter met us as we walked up and asked us if we liked sun or shade and since we liked both... More

We took an excursion from our cruise ship to the Chankanaab Park for the day. What a beautiful place!! There are many things to do. We snorkeled and the water was very clear but I recommend it for an experienced snorkeler. You have to enter in by stairs and the water was pretty wavy the day we were there. The... More
