We really enjoyed our time at Chankanaab. We scheduled a manatee experience. We arrived an hour early and the staff was so nice they took us early. I don't know if there were other people scheduled on our tour but it was really nice to not have to share our time. I love love love Manatees! The snorkeling was okay.... More

Great experience and a must do in Cozumel. Everyone is friendly with great service. There are several additional things to do at the park for a small fee. Enjoy snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. The snorkeling is nice and water is very calm and peaceful. Make sure you bring a waterproof camera to capture the beauty.

Nice resort. Dolphins, snorkeling, plenty of beach bars with fast food and burritos. What was a bonus was the crocs and the tequila factory. A real one on one from a very enthusiastic Mexican. Iguanas roaming free. Nice walks. Only 10 mins from the port. Would go again.

We spent a day at Chankanaab mainly to swim with the dolphins. We came during the off season (end of August), so the park was fairly empty. There was a constant flow people swimming with the dolphins, but the beaches were pretty deserted. Swimming with the dolphins was a fantastic experience. They have 3 packages and we chose the middle... More

It's been 2 years since I last visited Chankanaab and it has continued to grow which is good and bad. A zipline park has been added along with a pool with a swim up bar. But over the years it still retains it's basic charm and why many visitors return...great water, pretty good snorkeling and as quiet as you want... More

On August 4, my husband and I had our vows renewed in a Mayan Wedding Ceremony at Chankanaab Park. The park is a colorful beach park and full of adventure and main attractions. We did not have time to partake in all of the activities because our ceremony lasted 2 hours which included a 45 minute photo session, 30 minute... More

Although my large group enjoyed the beauty of the park, you need to realize how big of a tourist trap it is if you do any of the activities with the dolphins. You are not allowed to take close up pictures of kinfolks doing this. They take them and try to sell you an expensive photo package. One of our... More

My daughter and I went to Chankanaab Park for the day while on a Carnival Dream Cruise. We initially went to the park for the dolphin adventure swim. However, we got much more than that! We started the morning by going on a tour of the park while our guide entertained us with stories of local history. We didn't know... More

Enjoyed my snorkeling time there. Lots of fish and plenty of underwater landscape. Can swim with the dolphins also.

This was our very first cruise and excursion. The cruise ship arranged transportation to and from the park. Our guide, Ansel, was excellent. He made sure we knew all that we could do in the park. He made sure we were comfortable with the snorkeling but not overbearing. Saw several kinds of fish, statues and part of a wreck. He... More
