I went on my first cruise in April 17, 2009. I was on Carnival Fun Ship cruise. First stop was Cozumel. I visited there with my two sisters. My one sister goes on many cruises. She is the one suggested going there. She just told the taxi driver where we ported to take us to the National Park. She didn't... more

We spent the entire day snorkeling, doing the Royal Swim at Dolphin Discovery and enjoying the beautiful scenery. more

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and decided to go to Chankanaab for the dolphin swim adventure. The cruise line wanted $119 per person for this excursion so I researched the park online prior to the cruise and booked the dolphin swim on my own. I found the park had a link for a special deal on the dolphin... more

We had the opportunity to visit Chankanaab for free with our package in Cozumel. The park is beautiful. We did the Royal Swim (which was not free) with the dolphins, and it was an unforgettable experience. Definitely worth doing at least once. Chankanaab also had great snorkeling and diving. If you're into these sports, you definitely should make a stop... more

My husband, son, and I traveled on Voyager of the seas on 4/5/09. We visited Chankanaab on 4/7/09 and participated in the Dolphin Encounter. When we got off of the ship, we walked out of the pier area and caught a cab. The cab took us to Chankanaab where we were able to swim with dolphins! I was SO excited!... more

Cozumel was the first stop of our cruise, we didn't have a lot of time in port and we were at sea for two days, so we were looking forward to some solitude, sun, and beach. I saw the deal on the Chankenaab website for admission, snorkel rental, free drinks, and a t-shirt, for $28 pp, as opposed to about... more

If you want to swim with the dolphins, go for it. It's expensive but might be worth it. If your kids or friends want to swim with the dolphins, you still need to pay $16 each to get in the park, besides the fee for the dolphins (much higher). You want to set foot on the pier to take a... more

Chankanaab Park is lovely, safe, clean and has alot to offer. Large lockers for storage and the price of the taxi was included in our package. We did the Royal swim with the dolphins and that was really neat. You can take a waterproof camera with you and I highly reccomend that. The foot-push dolphin trick is awesome, but the... more

But for the availability of palapas and beach chairs, this park was not worth the time and money. After going to Xcaret and Xel-Ha on the mainland I was really disappointed by the lack of activities. There is an abundance of great shore snorkeling in Cozumel at places like the Money Bar and Playa Corona - where you pay no... more

Cozumel was one of the ports we visited on our cruise, so we decided to visit this national park. We booked a package on Cozumel.com which included the entrance fee, a tee shirt, and 2 for 1 drink special. The full cost had to be prepaid, however you can get the same package at the park upon arrival. A $10... more
