the street vendors harass you

We just got back from a 5 day cruise which stopped in Cozumel. We didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an excursion so we rented a buggy for $75. We came on a Carnival cruise which docked at PuertoMaya. We rented this buggy outside Puerto Maya. You have to walk out of Puerto Maya and cross the street... More

I bought a supposed stirling silver chain for my grandson, only to find out when we arrived back home, it is silver plate over copper. store is at the exit of cruise port. Name of store is ERICK S Saraflael EMPL No 551 . dont buy any silver unless you are guaranteed .

i have been to cozumel 3 times in the last five years....this year was the terrible! The street vendors are in your face trying to sell you stuff when you say no they continue on! They were rude! If it was one or two id be like no big deal but it was constant all day long! You couldnt walk... More

cozumel is very relaxing great time people very friendly but my son & i were ripped off i do hope the tourist center calls us, we found a jeweler not 50 feet from the center park we bought 3 14k gold chains bracelets , these were stamped 14k solid gold the jeweler assured us these were solid gold, i asked...
