My partner and I did a Temazcal over a year ago but remember it very well. It, along with a visit to some Mayan villages, were the highlight of a trip to the Mayan coast (sorry, really don't like the word Riviera). The owner and guide does an amazing job at teaching you and leading you through the ritual. I... More

Thank you very much for such wonderful and uplifting words Cinthya. We feel so honored and happy you could realize about all those aspects within yourself in our Temazcal Experience. I just would like to clarify a couple of things in your review, in order to avoid confusion or misunderstandings from those who read it: 1) We are not in... More

My husband and I were really excited about this! We were on the island for our honeymoon and wanted to do something off the beaten path and that would be spiritually rejuvenating. Our expectations were exceeded by the beautiful property and Petrus. It felt so great to just be present and away from the resort for the day. I would... More

First let me say, this is not some 5 star resort where you are going to your everyday sauna. Those of you that are crying over certain things in other reviews, get a grip and read and research exactly what this is. This really is an authentic different experience that may not be for everyone, especially if you are use... More

Visiting Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, you'll find a million things to do, a million people doing it and a million more who offer it. THIS, this experience is for the those who walk to the beat of their own drum and avoid the herd. Follow your heart and soul, and create something new within while leaving what no... More

My daughter needed to de-stress after a grueling semester at university, so I booked a session at the steam lodge. We were picked up downtown and driven into the jungle for an amazing adventure that lasted from 9:00am to 2:30 pm. The cost was $80.00 per person. We began our relaxation in hammocks as we learned about the Mayan calendar... More

One of the reasons that I decided to visit Cozumel was to attend this sweat lodge and I was not disappointed. Petrus, the host of this event, was personable, knowledgeable, entertaining and did everything possible to make the attendees feel comfortable. The lovely jungle setting was completely private, away from other tourist attractions. It was rustic, yet clean and well-kept.... More

This was by far my most memorable experience in Cozumel. Even my husband, who was very skeptical, found it to be an amazing experience. I am sure we will be back. I can only recommend this to people who want something personal, something spiritual, something that brings them back to who they are and who they should be. This experience... More

I was there two years ago and it is still just as memorable as the day we were there. Petrus was friendly and very thorough when I called and talked to him six months before our visit. Once we arrived, he picked us up and gave us a informal tour on the way out to the lodge. The relaxation in... More
