This reef was our first experience for snorkeling other than from the shore. It was eye opening to say the least. A whole new world has been opened to us. We will now actively pursue our diving certs.

Another amazing spot to snorkel or dive. We saw a shark while snorkeling here - it was a good distance away from us, but very exciting to see!

Beautiful scuba diving, plenty of fish, turtles and sharks. Saw a few large lobsters and crabs. Slow moving current is perfect for new divers.

Love Columbia. The Columbia Shallows dive is fantastic due to the beautiful coral, bright light due to shallow depth and ability to stay forever. Max depth on our last visit was only 27 feet. One of our favorite second dives.

Columbia reef in Cozumel has several different locations. Columbia Caverns is I deep dive, and due to a strong down current is the only aborted dive our guides ever led us on once previously in Cozumel. Columbia Shalloows, however is a good shallow dive, and excellent snorkel stop. This trip we saw one sea turtle and several barracuda, in addition... More

I love both these dives. Shallows max depth is 30 feet so you can stay down for over an hour. Like swimming in a fish aquarium. Never had a bad dive at either of these locations.

Really neat spot with lots to see. As the name says there are many cool swim throughs and little caverns to explore just an amazing dive and snorkel site. Cozumel is probably the best bag for your buck diving in the world and let hope it stays that way.
