We recently were in Cozumel again and the Columbia reef was part of the snorkeling tour we went on. I am sure from every resort or company that offers diving or snorkeling times here 20+ times a day. We were here about an hour to see this reef. . The beautiful coral reef still has several species of fish, eels... More

Sea Turtles, Moray eel, anemones, Manta ray, puffer fish, lion fish and Barracuda. So much underwater life in this area, didn't want to come out of the water.

it is called swimming pool and it is only 8-10 meters but it is an awesom dive to hang with fish out leisurely. Everybody goes to Columbia Cordilleras but I love my swimming pool. Perfect light for pictures too and take the time to really go through the rocks and you find amazing stuff - deep is not always better.

We went on a snorkel trip and covered 3 reefs. The second one was this reef, Columbia. The coral formation is breath taking and jaw dropping. I was so overwhelmed and just looked up to the sky saying a thank you prayer to God for the beauty in this world. Must go dive and snorkel. Whatever you do, don't miss... More

There are no words to describe how beautiful this reef is. We snorkeled this through Chaco-coco tours and saw octopus, lobsters, sting rays...the list goes on and on. I would do this again 1000000 times.

What's not to like? The only problem is that because we were so close to the summer solstice and just coming off a full moon, currents were tricky. Just a few feet up or down and the current may be going in the opposite direction. And the occasional whirlpool. But if that doesn't bother you, or you go when there... More
