We booked this trip for 20 people through our Lomas Travel reps (Funjet) at our resort in Cancun. We had an A/C bus trip to the marina - but it was a long ride - over an hour. Once we got to the Maroma Marina, we had to wait for about an hour before we got boarded. I am not... more

We scheduled this snorkel tour with the Maroma Yacht Club/Paradise Reef through our resort in Cancun in January 2008. We had the misfortune of having a very windy, rough, cold day when our trip was scheduled to happen. They refused to cancel or give us a rain check and claimed the conditions would be calm once we were out on... more

It was $50 per person and included air conditioned transportation there and back, snacks and drinks on the boat, 2 areas of snorkeling on a beautiful state park reef, and the chance have drinks and lunch at a nice open... more

This was a half-day catamaran snorkel trip to Maroma Beach, offered by most of the big tour companies in the area. It is sometimes billed as the "Paradise Reef" snorkel trip-- not to be confused with the Paradise Beach on Cozumel. We paid $50 per person and enjoyed it very much. We were picked up at our resort and taken... more

I had the pleasure of spending a day in Cozumel, while travelling around the Carribean on Holland American's Maasdam cruise ship. I dove at each destination, including Grand Cayman. I had also been to the Great Barrier Reef, Florida Keys and other locations. I got very nervous when the divemaster of our boat, Sand Dollar Divers, explained that nobody in... more
