The lighthouse gives you a good view of the ocean and the wetlands. The stairs are very narrow and hard to navigate if there are a lot of people. Go early to avoid the crowds. The museum was interesting and the whole park was nice.

I was happy to come here but I doubt I'd go again. It's a good jaunt up to the top, so make sure you aren't hurt/in bad shape. There were a few people who had hurt limbs who were regretting it. It was a great view though. I'd mention it to anyone who is visiting. It's something to see in... More

This was my first visit to a lighthouse. Lots of steps up to the top but amazing view. Beautiful area around the lighthouse with crashing waves, hammocks, a little museum and ruins nearby. The crocodile look out was up the road and fun to see.

I have a thing for lighthouses and think they are som beautiful. This one was one of the best I have seen so far, absloutely gourgeous! The stairs are so worth it if you avoid one of the big tourist groups that is.

We went through the light house museum, saw the crocodiles, walked through the small vendor shops. We didn't take the stairs to the top of the light house this trip though many people were. We looked at a turtle egg laying section of beach. Then we went to see the snorkel beach. It is beautiful! At Papetios they make sure... More

When we went, we were allowed to go inside the lighthouse and see the magnificent light up close. It was well worth the long climb!

My friend and I were very excited to see the lighthouse. However, it was closed to to renovations. The museum was small but a nice lesson in Cozumel history. We paid $14 to get in to Punta Sur. I was disappointed that they didn't tell us the Lighthouse was closed for renovations.

Some tight spaces and you definitely have to watch your step. Lots of stairs to get to the top- be prepared. View from the top is excellent.

Only 133 steps, and a marvelous view. There's also a museum, which is interesting, and some souvenir stands. The ride out is lovely, too.
