On our driving tour of Cozumel, we visited Punta Celerain Lighthouse in Punta Sur, at the south end of the island. While pricey to enter the park ($14 USD per person), the view from the top of the lighthouse was amazing! We first stopped at the salt water crocodile viewing platform on the lagoon, and did, in fact, see a... More

Rented a cab as we got off or cruise ship and asked the can drive to take us out here. You pay an entrance fee based on what you want to see at the park. We stored at the crocodile outpost, little Mayan ruins and lastly the lighthouse. Had a very friendly and informative guide talk about the crocodiles and... More

Awesome views from the beach and the lighthouse. Lighthouse stairs are narrow and exiting onto the outside is a bit cramped, but at 6'1", I made it happen. Extraordinary photo ops here.

We visited years ago when there was little more than just a sandy road that lead to the lighthouse. We had fun skidding through the sand on our moped and stopped along the way to look at a small ruin. l clamored up the side of the thing and sat on the top where there was a small ring on... More

We had to rent a car to get to this side of the island. It's called Punta Sur. It's a national park so the wildlife here is protected. They have a lighthouse where you can stop and take beautiful pictures and down the road is paradise. You can stop at a restaurant that just opened like 2 months ago called... More

We came here as part of a Jeep tour around Cozumel. There's a fee to get into the ecological park where this lighthouse is, but it's worth it. Climb up to the top- the steps get VERY narrow- and step outside for a fantastic view. Walk around the grounds to check out the ruins of the old lighthouse that was... More

Great view of the ocean from atop the lighthouse. We also got a free tour of crocs with Jorge. That was awesome. We had a great day at Punta Sur.

Researching things to see and do, I knew I would like check it out. This was one of the stops already part of our private jeep tour. The lighthouse is part of the Faro Celerain Eco Park, there is an entrance fee to go into the park. Once you get into the park, the drive towards the lighthouse, you see... More

This was one of my Favorite stops in Cozumel our guide was too nice!! The lighthouse is very tight squeeze but OMG worth the climb. The swings outside are fantastic. The waves crashing on the rocks were perfect backdrop for a pic!

We rented cars to drive around Cozumel. I did research on the lighthouse but apparently not enough because no where did it say it closed at 3PM. We did not get to see the lighthouse but I'm required to give an Overall rating so I chose average.
