My two sisters and I rented a car during our 5 day visit in Cozumel. We wanted to explore the island so decided to drive out to the lighthouse. They provide you with a guide for your drive along the trail that gives you enough info to get you through. Nothing really "wowed" us but it was something to do... More

Punta Celerain Lighthouse is beautiful. You get to see the ocean, lighthouse, Mayan ruin, crocodile and a museum.

We visited on a private tour with a taxi driver. Great sights from top of lighthouse. There is an interesting museum on sight as well as some stalls for souvenirs and a cafe for drinks/snacks. A tequila tasting experience as well.

The view is beautiful and has nice area where you can walk in soft sand and sit on a swing and just enjoy the view.

We came here as part of an excursion around all of Cozumel. It was absolutely beautiful! I didn't climb to the top but the view was still breathtaking.

Beautiful view, worth the drive. We rented a jeep and drove down from our hotel in town. The view from the top is beautiful and there is a small museum at the bottom. There are guides that will grab you when you enter and tell you all about the exhibits. We hadn't planned to hire a guide, but were glad... More

we took the Jeep excursion to the lighthouse and nearby beach and found it mediocre. For the $110+ per person to go there, lunch, tequila tasting, it was expensive. Lighthouse is small, 134 steps up to a fairly nice view of beach and lagoon for about 5 minutes worth of photo-op. Beach is OK, but wave is strong. Snorkeling is... More

This was an interesting stop. Lots of information to read and learn about. It was cool to get to go up into the lighthouse.
