We rented a motorbike and this was one of our stops for snorkeling. Picked a great spot on the beach. Ordered a few cervezas, my husband snorkeled and I got out my book and read on the beach with my toes in the sand. We ordered a snack and could have stayed there all afternoon. So peaceful. REALLY glad we... More

We have been to Cozumel many times and this was our first trip to some local snorkel places. This was the best place we tried south of town. We spent a few hours there. You either pay $5 to snorkel or spend $10 each. We were glad to enjoy a few beers and chicken fajitas for $20 to keep this... More

Laid back staff, quiet beach, not crowded. Free to go (taxi costs about 90-100 pesos each way). Great snorkeling. Stayed all day!

Outstanding snorkeling. Service was fantastic. Food very good. A must do if visiting Cozumel. Locals go here. Very quiet and relaxing.

My husband and I prefer a place that is a off the beaten path, Playa Corona is. It is completely perfect for a afternoon in Mexico. Cold drinks, surf and sun. The staff is very friendly and gracious. Awesome for snorkeling. It is a bit worn in, but I like it that way. There is no blaring booty shacking music,... More

We have been coming to Playa Corona for several years, it is by far the best shore snorkeling on the island. I don't know what people are talking about, a charge to be there? You SHOULD get something to drink or eat to use the the facility, that's common sense! How do you think the place gets maintained? They provide... More

This is just a little place, looks kinda dumpy from the road, but the snorkeling is better than in front of many of the hotels. The fish are close to the shore and out by the bouys. Be sure and swim out to the bouys, as that is really where the snorkeling action is.

We loved the excellent authentic food, cold beer, good service, laid back atmosphere. Not crowded and noisy. Decent snorkeling. Rest rooms and showers. Five minute $13 taxi ride from downtown Cozumel. We had delicious fish tacos, chips and salsa, 4 Coronas, bottled waters, and snorkel gear for $42. We stayed about 4 hours and had a great time. They took... More

I hate to say this - but the place is tired. We were on Cozumel for a day. Took a car rental and drove around ending up here for a late lunch or early supper. We had intended to snorkel but had run out of time. We ordered the Fish taco - it was to say a word - superb... More
