This is a great place to sit and have a beer under a tiki hut. The snorkeling was my favorite in Cozumel but that's not saying much. Lots of smaller fish and a couple of sting rays but there's not an impressive reef.

Quiet beach, not crowded. great snorkeling, especially for newbys and younger children.Water was shallow with a very gradual slope. Bathrooms were a little rough. Food was good/good price. I will be visiting again. Good place if you want a relaxed low-keyed day

I've been going to Corona beach for about 12 years now. I just love it !Very quiet ,snorkeling is just wonderful. you come and go as you please the owner is really nice. Just relaxing! It's a must if you go to Cozumel... If you decide to hang out there. You really need to buy either drinks or food. They... More

There's nothing fancy about this restaurant. It is mostly outdoor dining with free snorkeling (if you eat or drink). The wait staff is very friendly, the food is good, beer is cold, but mostly the snorkeling and views are incredible!

If you are looking for an eco friendly owner of beach property, easy entry into the water from the beach, and coral then go to this easy to find bar/beach just south of the main city of San Miguel on Cozumel. The owner supports his growth of sea coral and has buoyed off a whole stretch of water just off... More

Our second visit here, this time the snorkeling was disappointing. That can always happen, day to day or even hour to hour. However there seemed to be a lot less underwater rock than we remembered. In December, 2012, we saw an Octopus here, but this time not anything worth mentioning. The coral and rock is the best right in front... More

Although it appears a little rough around the edges, the snorkling was great, the service was perfect and the food was delicious!! We ordered shrimp quesedilla and fish tacos with guacamole. Really fresh and spiced perfectly. A must while you are exploring the island.

We have been going to Playa Corona for 8-10 years now and have always enjoyed the snorkeling, the service, and the food. What a disappointment we had this year to be overcharged -- and I'll just say ripped off -- when we went to pay our bill. The snorkeling was fine, but the bouyed off some areas that were the... Our day at Playa Corona Beach Club was wonderful. We arrived in Cozumel by Cruise ship and really wanted a relaxing beach day sans crowds. Playa Corona is a short taxi ride away from the terminal. The club offers chairs, table, shade, hammocks, clean toilets, shower, food and bar service, and awesome snorkeling! Snorkel gear is averrable for rent. A... More

There was some colorful coral and easy entry. Just buy a couple drinks or some food and they let you swim. If you swim to the left a little there is some sunken concrete where you can see some colorful fish.
