Typical Touristy Mexican Beach - TTMB

$5/chair, ok, but $15 per person to send the kids into the water to play? I don't think so. We had hoped to buy some drinks and food while the kids played - a win-win, but at $100 before we even sit down... That's a rip off.

We went to this beach "resort" on our Cozumel day of the cruise on June 18, 2015. From the moment we got there we were hassled. First we tried to sit out on the beach area which was dirty but we were bothered so much by the locals selling all their crap so we moved up to the pool. Unfortunately... More

Cozumel was our first port to visit on our 7 day cruise. We were bummed that we had to take a taxi to a beach and that there wasn't one near the port. We found two other travelers to share the fare with. The driver gave us several options and we all decided on the free beach. The driver informed... More

First of all, most of the pictures above are of Paradise Beach Club next door. The only ones of San Francisco are the ones with the blue lounge chairs, except that picture was taken when they were new. First, you pay $10 / person, and get $8 credit towards food purchases. The food is actually decent, but everything else about... More

First of all, the inflatables pictured are not part of this beach. This place was a rip off. They charged us to get in telling us that for $20 we could use the water toys. After taking our money they informed us that we could actually only use one small trampoline because they belonged to the club next door. We... More

Was there in 2000 and 2006 and the place was awesome! Beach water was pristine and was a beautiful blue. Swim up pool bar was crystal clear. They had very limited water water sports so it was a laid back atmosphere. The service was great. Had such fond memories we wanted to revisit during our vacation of May of 2015.... More

What a terrible tourist trap. Dirty, over priced, aggressive sales, weak drinks, $4 beers and an overly expensive cover charge. Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere else... cruise ship or no.

Quick taxi ride to this beach from the cruise ship dock. We did a little local shopping first AWAY from the shops on the pier (go across the street for some nicer less touristy shopping). Taxi dropped us off right in front of the restaurant/bar/beach area. Staff was awesome. Super friendly, funny, kept checking on us regularly. As long as... More

You just have to spend $10 a piece for 2 on food and or drinks, served to you beach side, to receive 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella. Great value for what you pay for. The food was good and service was great. The only downside is all the Mexican's trying to sell you their items the whole time you... More

Took a taxi to the beach from the Cruise Port. Dropped out close to gate. Nice shaded and paved walking area to beach. Mexican music playing on loud speaker - nice touch. Met by friendly worker who escorts you to chairs / umbrella - which were in good shape. Beach, itself, isn't anything special. Lots of bouncy-things in the water... More
