Very professional, organized operation. Highly competent individuals, both Anibal and the boat captain. Great focus on safety, as an engineer this is much appreciated. I would recommend people that want to try this work on their free diving skills and being able to get 15' - 20' under. A person needs to be able to dive and stay under for... More

Our group had a great day trying this out. The fish were a little scarce this day but that is a hazard of fishing any where. Anibal was great at showing us what to do and they did a great job of trying to get us into some fish. Will try this again next time we visit.

This is my fourth year with the Spearfishingtoday team. This trip my wife Joyce and I went out spearfishing with Leo, Diego and Mark, a friend of Leo the founder of Spearfishingtoday. As always these guys stress safety first and always find fish. Today it was trigger fish and Spanish mackerel. The waters in Cozumel are beautiful and the visibility... More

I do this EVERY time I go to Cozumel, and it never disappoints!!! An especially easy trip for people who stay at El Cozumeleno as they can pick you up right from the dock! You have to try this!!!

Great time with Anibal. The experience was challenging and very rewarding. Wish I had another day to do it again with what I learned today. Anibal is a patient teacher and clearly very experienced in the water. It felt more like hunting than fishing. The most rewarding fishing I've ever done. Hotel cooked up some of the fish for me... Spearfished with Spearfishingtoday on my wife and my second anniversary trip. Got to go out twice, once from playa via the ferry, and once straight from Cozumel... Fished with Diego out of playa and Anibal out of Cozumel... both guys were top notch, great divers and did their best to bring us to their best spots. I am an intermediate... More

I spearfished with Spearfishing Today for the first time in 2013. When we booked our trip for 2015 to Cozumel one of the first things that I did was to contact Leo to schedule another two days of spearfishing. In the past I have been guided by Anibal, but on this trip on the first day I was footnote enough... More

Great fun! Anibal was a terrific guide. We took our catch of the day to a "locals" restaurant where they cooked up our fish in a really delicious meal! A perfect island experience!

Let me start by saying I really liked our guides Anibal and Diego. Thought they did an effective job of leading our 2 groups of 5. They were informative and did a good job of equipping and educating on the equipment, experience and risks. Here's the reality…Spearfishing is hunting...and in this case you have to be able to dive with... More

Thank you for writing about your experience with us. We agree. One should be realistic before booking a trip with us. Spearfishing is simply not for everybody. When you do like snorkeling and fishing then you will like and understand spearfishing. First let me start by saying that spearfishing is not called spear catching for a reason. We, and so... More

We had a great time with Spear Fishing Today Cozumel! Our briefing was thorough and instruction was good. I mostly snorkeled on the surface while my boyfriend fished, but it was enjoyable nonetheless! Great company, would definitely use them again!
