I wanted to try Papa Hogs as a lot of my friends said they were pretty good. I was disappointed. The dock area needed much improvement. The shower didn't work at all. I guess I must be spoiled with the larger boats. The small boat, I think they call them 6 packs, was not as fast as I expected. Lots... More

The dive shop is what you would expect in Cozumel, Not bad, not great… the staff were very friendly and helpful. The boat was a small but it was nice because there was only room for 6 divers. they provided cold water for the divers and offered cut fruit between the dives. We had a private dive guide in the... We look forward to diving with Papa Hogs. The dive masters are very friendly and are there to make your vacation memorable. We are always treated like royalty by everyone. After the dives meeting up at Mama Hogs for some great food and drinks is a must. Cant wait to return!!!

We were supposed to travel to Cozumel with a friend and his group, but some last minute drama caused us to cancel that trip. We already had the week off, and the plane tickets booked, so we were scrambling to find a place to stay and dive with. Our primary concern for this vacation was diving. We wanted unlimited shore... This is my 3rd experience with Papa hogs. You know you have a good outfit when the employees stay for years abs years. Juan took care of us and made us feel safe, laughed a lot and enjoyed the best diving ever. We did our advanced open water while there and Margaret and her team gave us excellent guidance and... I don't hesitate for a second to recommend Papa Hog's to divers traveling to Cozumel. Just to provide some context, I've been a diver for 25 years and have gotten wet all over the world. I make 2-3 trips per year to Cozumel. Some 20 years ago, after trying several dive operators on Cozumel I tried Papa Hogs. Now I... More

Had a great diving experience today with Divemaster Rocky. He was very patient & helpful for my daughter's first ocean dive. We had two great dives & saw tons of cool fish! I will dive with Papa Hog's again when I return!

We were connected to papa hogs through grand cayman cruise excursions. We rented a boat for half a day at a very reasonable price and once off the ship took a cab the few miles to the shop. We spent a beautiful morning diving the protected waters of the reef system near San Francisco beach. The crew was wonderful, friendly... More

Our family of four completed our referral scuba certification with Papa Hogs, then continued to dive 2 additional days with them. So altogether, we spent 4 mornings (8 dives) with them. I can't imagine it could've been any better! They were so very accommodating, and made certain we were comfortable with the entire experience (I got very nervous/anxious and they... More

We booked this snorkel trip for our party of four through Island Marketing as it was much less than the snorkeling excursions through the cruise line. Plus we wanted to snorkel at Palancar Reef specifically. The dive shop was a quick $8 (for four of us) taxi ride from the cruise terminal and the snorkel boat was right across the... More
