Visiting Chichen Itza was a dream for me, so I wanted a private tour that would pick my friends and me up from our resort very early and get us to the site before the big tour companies arrived. We were delighted with Alberto's punctuality and knowledge! He was dedicated to giving facts and explaining details that we would have... More

Going to see the Chichen Itza Temple was the highlight of our vacation walking on the grounds that the rich came to pray was a fantastic feeling. Carlos our tour guide was raised in a Mayan Reservation and he had a lot of History to tell and the passion that he explained it with was bone chilling. He was saying... More

Just returned from a vacation in Cancun Mexico & wanted to let you know of what I thought was the highlight of our stay,a trip to the Ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza with Alberto Morales & his company 1% Travel. He was a great guy with a pleasant personality with a vast knowledge of the history & culture of the... Based on feedback of long coach rides with multiple pick-ups, the prospect of a long day and two children under ten to consider, we paid the extra for a private tour with Mexican Travel. They sent us an incredibly well informed guide, called Simon, with his own spacious and comfortable, air-conditioned and stocked minivan. From the moment Simon picked us... More

We booked our day excursion to Chichen Itza and Haniku Cenote through Lomas Tours. They also set us up with a very reputable tourist guide - Simon Chavez Flores. He was extremely knowledgeable and made our day trip extremely memorable!

We took the full day tour to see Chichen Itza, leaving from Isla Mujeres. We ended up in various souvenir traps spending 3/4 of the tours fending off people who were selling "artifacts" at ridiculous prices. Chichen Itza is fantastic and everything you need is there - restaurants, guides, shops. There is no need to stop anywhere on the way... More

I recommend the private tour of Chichen Itza through Mayans' Explorers. I arranged the trip before arriving in Cancun and all email correspondence was prompt. One is asked to pay a deposit through PayPal, and the balance in cash on the day of the trip. I opted to pay in full through PayPal before the trip, with an additional 5%... More

We went to chichen itza with a company called Attraction world, booked through thompson .The trip was called chichen itza classic, but it wasnt, the minibus was small even though it was supposed to be a luxury sixteen seater. The seats have had too many people on them over the years and at the rear of the bus have sagged so we were nearly... Allow me to begin by saying the other review listed here is not talking about the correct tour. The stops mentioned are not a part of this tour and the information has been accidentally posted in the wrong location. Please disregard it (as it should be removed by TripAdvisor.) Our tour with Manny passed the test: I would recommend his... More

Full day tour experience of mine was not good. I noticed that these full day tours in Mexico wasted a lot of my time while stopping at different places where they try to sell local stuff. Our day tour for Chichen Itza started at 6am, they took us first to a cave, which was pretty cool. After that, it was... More
