We rode in a very comfortable tour bus from our resort to Chichen Itza , about 2 1/2 hours. Ceasar was our Tour guide and we had a very good driver. I had planned on taking a nap, but we got a lesson on the Mayan People, culture and customs. Before we arrived we had a late breakfast on the... More

Booked our travel with xcaret experiencias and they gave an interval of 30 mins for pick-up but when they came thye only waited for 2 mins and then they left after leaving a no show notification to the front desk (who also did not let us know that they finally arrived). Calling them they said they don't want to return... More

VERY pricey. Spent more time on the bus than we did at the locations. Torrential downpour at Xichen Itza caused our time there to be shorter. It's beautiful and I wish I could give this tour a better grade, but we really missed out on a lot. Tour no longer stops in Valladolid for lunch. I understand this is a... More

The tour itself is very nice, Chichen Itza is very well conserved and the park is carefully kept. But it is hard to say good things about this guided tour with the experiences we had from the tour guides. When approaching Valladolid, they said the bus would stop in a Maya store in the village and recommended us to buy... More

Looking at the Xichen Itza pyramids first hand is an awe inspiring thing. A great place to take pictures and know a little bit about Mayan history and culture. A must do if you are in the Mexican Riviera/Cancun area.

It was a great experience- our tour guide was very informational and although the trip was 2 hours from our hotel, he kept talking the whole ride there about the history of it which made it seem so much shorter. The pyramids are so beautiful up close! This is a must do if you travel to Cancun!

My sisters and I visited in early March of this year. What a day! If you can get through the long bus ride to Chichen Itza and Ik Il Cenote your visit will be well worth it. We booked the basic tour not the deluxe tour since the only difference between the two tours are the drinks. Bring a small... More

It was amazing to see the pyramids. I loved Mexico's culture and history even more when we went here. I was expecting to be able to climb the pyramid but unfortunately they do not allow it anymore to preserve its structure. TIP: Wear something very comfortable because the weather can be too hot and don't wear flip flops/open toe footwear... More
