This day trip is a good idea. You get a lot packed into one day. The Ruins, a Cenote, & a late lunch in Valladolid. My only complaint is that they don't give you much alone time to walk around and explore Chichen Itza or Valladolid.

We booked this trip with Xperiencias Xcaret through our hotel, and we overall really enjoyed the day. It was excellent value for money -- breakfast, transportation, guided tour, headset, lunch, alcohol, water, etc. The reason I couldn't give it five stars is that on arrival at Chichen Itza unloading the bus and making our way to the entrance was a... We booked directly through the online site for the Deluxe all inclusive tour....and it was so impressive. 12 hour, full day tour, with breakfast and buffet lunch, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks included, and a stop in Valladolid. Our guides were Miguel and Andrés and they wee professional, knowledgable and entertaining, a real tribute to the company. The site itself... More

We took bus 71 through xcaret experiences with tour guides Juan Jose, Manuel, and bus driver Jose from Moon Palace Cancun. We had the best time!!! Juan who is a Mayan native had us laughing all the way to Chichen Itza. It felt like we got there in a 1/2 hour. We also got a ham sandwich for lunch and... More

Brought the past to reality. Gobsmackingly wonderful. Interesting. It was very hot so you need to take lots of water.

Before booking this I read a lot about how long the trip from Cancun is, lots of people complaining about it, but even though it actually took us around 3 hs to get there it was worth the ride. we booked this though xcaret, so they picked us up from the hotel. During the ride we had two very nice... More

Great excursion. Very informative. If you like hand made stuff, wait until you go to Xichen itza. Great stuff and cheap.

We loved the site, we had a friend in Valladolid and he took us to Xichen Itza. We bought a big skull handmade and the site makes you feel like a very small person :) It's impressive and you should go on a weekday.

We were apprehensive about the amount of time we would be spending on the bus, but our tour guide whose name I can't remember at all and I wish I could because he was awesome (was it Efraim??), Jesus, and the bus driver Rosilio, made the trip go much faster. We enjoyed the stop in Valladolid and Cenote Zaci. Everyone... More

I am so happy that I booked the tour to Chichen Itza, went to the city of Valladolid and saw a cenote with my family and Husband. I believe we had the deluxe version of the tour? Not sure. I studied Mayan architecture and sculpture in college so I was so glad I could see it and touch it in... More
