We booked the deluxe tour, thinking no swim- perfect. This tour is run by the Xplore company and they do a very good job. The hotel buses pick you up, and drive you to facility, where you are re-bused based on your hotel groupings, really how close together they are. You will spend the entire day with the people you... We opted for the "deluxe" tour and it was worth it. Our guide, Miguel, was BIG fun, and his associate, Jesus, was very informative. This tour is run by the same company that owns Xplor and they know what they are doing! There is a lot of time on the bus but they do all they can to make it... More

We booked our tour through our hotel lobby at the Oasis Grand Palm, walked across the bridge 2 days later and saw a better tour for 40% less. Don't book this company it will turn your excursion into an exercise in patience. It started by them telling us to be in our lobby by no later than 7 am or... More

Dear visitor, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Regarding your comments about the souvenir store we think is important to share with you that the reason why our guides always advice to buy the souvenirs at the store is because: • At the store they provide a receipt, which can helps you to proof at the... At first I was debating between Xichen Xlassic and Xichen Deluxe, now I am very pleased with my choice. Our tour guide was Israel and he is very informative about the Mayan history, explaining to us on our way to Xichen Itza to make the time go by faster. We had brunch, coffee on the way (total of 4.5 hours... More

The food in the restaurant is not good. Buy souvenirs at the park, not before. Much cheaper. The guided tour at the park is great.

Although a lot of time is spent on the bus travelling between venues, this tour was very well run, and allows you to visit a couple of distinct areas: Chichen Itza Our tour guide was very informative, and gave us a quick run down on the history and cultural significance of different sites. We then had some time to wander... More

**First of all, DRINK LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of water the day before and during the day as it's VERY hot inland and you WILL get dehydrated!!** The ruins are a MUST on your trip to Cancun; there are plenty of tour choices, but we loved the multi-faceted adventure with this group. We LOVED going on this tour and... More

Really disappointing tour. We left the hotel at 7:15am and didn't actually get to Xichen until 2:30 in the afternoon, only to have a "guided tour" that sucked up all but 30 minutes of our time there and only covered the basic plaza and the game stadium. Bathroom break 10 min into the trip from Cancun, then 15min in Valladolid,... More

This tour was a bit too touristy for my liking. The first stop on the tour was a tourist trap souvenir shop. Second stop Chicen Itza. The history and pyramids were very impressive, unfortunately our guide only spoke Spanish which made it extremely difficult for my girlfriend to enjoy. Last stop was the cenote which was a lot of fun,... More
