My daughter & I went together on the ride. The bus ride was rather long, and the wait to get on the horses took awhile also. We both have ridden and owned horses and have a lot of "horse sense", they gave me a white horse that was quite moody when I got on him, and tried to get the... More

Our guide was well experienced, and extremely friendly, however, that's the extent of anything good I can say. The ride itself was nothing we couldn't do back home, with the exception of the beach. You only ride on the beach for a very small potion of the ride, the rest is on a gravel road. Once we got back, the... More

First, I was surprised to see the negative reviews, as this was one of the better things we went to do in Cancun. I understand the horses all have personalities, so maybe I just got lucky, but my wife who has never ridden before, and who gives off that vibe of nervousness, was put on a horse that matched her... I have ridden horses all my life and can tell you from experience that this operation is run terribly, and I'm surprised more people don't get hurt. I am also extremely surprised that the rating is as high as it is, and am assuming the people who did rate it high have had little riding experience. The bus ride to... More

Last year in December 2008; My fiance and I went to Lomo Bonita because I wanted to go SO bad... we don't ride horses regularly so he wasn't too excited to go... 1: It was quite a ride on the bus from Cancun; we met in this strange place of a mall and had to ask random workers where to... More

This was truly a phenomenal experience. I have been on horses my entire life, and consider myself to be well versed. Conversely, my husband has only been on a horse three times in his entire life. We both truly enjoyed the ride and the swim. Our tour guide, Ray, matched us perfectly to our horses, based on our experience level.... More

My husband and I signed up for the horseback riding extra. It was a nghtmare. I wondered why they had us sign a waiver about accidental injury. One girl's horse rolled over 3 tmes while she was on it. She got back on - I would not have. They warned us after we paid that the horses might roll over.... More

My husband and I have always wanted to go horse back riding and we figured that Mexico would be the perfect place. We booked this excursion through our apple rep through our hotel, and we were looking forward to this excursion. When we arrived to the ranch we were escorted back to the stable area where all the horses were... More

First and foremost - it was great and a highlight of the trip I have read the negative reviews and although the people that wrote them have a right to their opinion - it seems to me that they may not have experience around horses because of comments about the horses appearance and behavior. Horses on a merry go round... More

We just got back on the 7th of January- I'm not an animal rights activist, but I can tell you the condition of these horses is deplorable. These animals are given no shelter from the heat, no water over the 2 hour tour (none can be seen at the stalls either), are obviously hungry and get no snacks AND they... More
