The guides were in a rush. No time to sdmire the fish. My wife was unable to keep up and not do the second and third swims. I am not unfit and struggled to keep up. The lunch was good and the personnel very personable. Would recommend More

Folks, Isla Mujares is definitely an exotic place, and I would highly regard it. However, the different snorkeling tours that take you there, remains much to be seen. I will not bad mouth anyone or the place, but wanted to write this review to let folks know what to expect, and to plan accordingly...We went to Cancun July 2011, and... More

We booked our trip through our rep at Dreams Cancun through Samba tours. We had a large enough group (26) to get our private boat. This is a party cruise- more drinking than snorkeling. The water was rough and we saw a few fish and small brain coral. Nice, but nothing impressive. Lunch was a buffet at the Beach Club.... More

Do not take the tour - Morning Glory, offered in the Mayan Riveria. This tour takes you by boat to two snorkeling destinations. The first one you hardly see any fish, the second one is much better. The tour says you will be given a light snack and beverage, We had neither as when we got back to the beach... More

Van pick up when smoothly and ride. Good explanations once we were there, organized equipment hand out. Fun ride on boat. Staff was very helpful with checking our masks, etc. Once we got out in water though, it was stressful for me. Constantly I heard "Closer, closer!!" and I found myself checking the leader and others to make sure I... More

We were very reluctant to leave the resort, but decided to give it a shot. Wasn't sure what to expect, but our first impression was great as they picked us up in a very nice, clean van. Took about 40 mins to get there. Van stopped along the way so we could take pics of the crocodiles in the surrounding... More

The trip would have been a bust for me if it hadn't been for a young man.... part Don Juan/part Jacque Cousteau. I wasn't seeing much at all until Diego came up, took my hand and started showing me where to go, diving down and picking up shells, a baby octopus, and other little animals he found uner the rocks.... I absolutely LOVED the MAYAN ADVENTURE snorkeling tour!!! www.aventurasmayas.com if anyone is getting this one confused... which is why they probably are with a low rating! We got picked up by Ellie at our hotel at the EXACT time they said... she was AMAZING! Fell in love with her personality, and she made it a great group activity!!! We were... More

We did the Morning Glory trip. All worked like clockwork: the pick-up and the wait on the beach before boarding the boats. During the wait on the beach we applied suntan lotion and checked our snorkling gear (which we had brought from the US). They have ample gear on site and no one complained about the supplied kit. We bought... More

We went on the "Morning Glory" tour by Snorkeling Adventures. This was the quick morning tour option. Unlike many other reviewers, I had no issues with the prices, the park fee or the biodegradable sunblock issue - our agent at Apple tours gave us a great overview, so we were not surprised by any of the charges or rules. So,... More
