This was by far our favorite beach we visited. We parked our rental at the Forum Shops underground parking and walked right out to the beach. We sat at a place called Mandella Beach Club. It was fanstastic...you have to pay for the use of the chairs and umbrella however you get that back in credit for drinks and food.... More

This is a little mall located at club zone, where you will find most of the night clubs, including Coco bongo, hard rock and Carlos and charlies among other, besides the clubs there are a few restaurants and some shops to do souvenir shopping.

the part that we were at the moon palace was great, the sand is reallt white but the sea floor on that part have a lot of weads. What is good about that part, there are no other Hôtels; so the beach is only for you for as long as you want to walk.

This is one of my most favorite beaches in Cancun! There are lots of great restaurants nearby, as well as right on the beach. You can rent a lounger chair with umbrella and have your drinks/food brought to you. Though, for me, the best part is picking shells here. The water can get a bit rough, but if you walk... More

This beach experience saved our afternoon. We unexpectedly stumbled upon this outdoor party after a mediocre lunch at Hard Rock. Just off the back patio of the restaurant was a full beach party with 2 live DJ's spinning on the turntables. The drinks were flowing and the crowd was there to enjoy great scenery, nice cocktails and good company. The... More

Been some time since we'ver been to Forum Beach in Cancun..aka Gaviota's or Seagull Beach. Wow what a shock. The place was an absolute disaster with trash from the punta to the big rock. You couln't take a step without hitting a plastic cup. There were beer caps and bottles everywhere you looked. At the same time the trash recepticles... More

We spent a rainy Wednesday in a full day cooking class. We could not have made a better choice. Chef Claudia and her warm and charming husband were great hosts. We cooked ( and then ate) 8 or 9 Classic Mexican dishes including Tamales, enchiladas, guacamole and several salsas. Claudia is very talented and makes the learning experience fun. Even... More
