We had a fantastic trip to Chichen Itza. Booking the tour by email was very simple and Jerry's associate, Jorge, was very happy to answer questions. The pick-up feels very early, but when you're leaving the ruins just as the heat hits and the crowds get heavy, you recognize how much sense it makes. Jerry pitched his explanations perfectly to... What a great day! Jerry is amazing - so knowledgable and interesting. He gets you to Chichen Itza before the crowds which is a huge plus and walks you around the site. He is insightful and answers any questions you may have regarding Mayan culture. I would highly recommend doing Chichen Itza with Jerry.

Gerardo (Jerry) is a phenomenal guide. He is friendly, insightful, and capable. The most impressive aspect of our day-long adventure was that Gerardo planned so impeccably, getting ahead of the crowds, allowing the perfect amount of time to soak everything in, and keeping things interesting without overloading us. I also thought the honesty about historical matters was refreshing.

If you'd like to leave the touristy beach strip of Cancun and learn about the Yucatan penninsula and Mayan culture, a day (or more) with Jerry is the way to go. He and his driver picked us up at 6:00 a.m. and we were in Chichen Itza by 9:00 a.m. when the day's temperatures were still comfortable and the crowds... More

Our day with Jerry was unbelievable! While most tourists head to Chichen Itza, we decided to travel to Coba and the Grand Cenote. Tourists are no longer allowed to climb Chichen Itza and with three teenage boys, we thought being able to climb would add to the adventure of the trip. (note: there is a rope for assistance up and... More

While on our honeymoon in Cancun last year, my wife and I toured Ek Balam and Cenote Maya with Jerry. It was an absolutely incredible day, incredibly informative, done at our pace. Jerry has to be the best tour guide in Mexico. The trip was so good that upon deciding to return to Cancun to celebrate our first anniversary (along... More

Jerry did a great job of not only educating us on the Mayan culture, but also gave us insight into the current economy in Mexico, which was an eye opener. He is an excellent tour guide, is very personable, and well informed about the history of the Mayans. I would highly recommend using him for your tour to Chichen Itza.

Just returned from a full day tour with Jerry. He is incredibly knowledgable and professional. He answered every question we had with ease--and helped us understand Mexico today and during the Mayan era. You will be exceptionally pleased if you book a tour with him.

I really can't find one thing bad to say about our tour with Jerry. We were a family of 4 - two kids aged 9 and 7. Similar to other reviews, Jerry and Joaquin picked us up at 6:30 right on time. He offered the perfect balance to giving information yet also recognizing the long drive... hence playing the "nap... More

We traveled to Cancun over Christmas week. we are a family of four with 2 teens, ages 17 and 14. We knew we'd have to get out off the grounds of our all inclusive hotel or go crazy, so we planned a few days off site. We had been reading about Chichen Itza for years and it was on our... More
