This is a huge mall. All the comforts of home. The movies are in english sub. spanish. Real nice seats and movies r new ones that will just be out when u get home. Lots of great stores. Doug (Ut)

Seemed to have an older section and newer section. Not as crisp and clean as shopping malls elsewhere and the prices were just ok - no great deals. But was a good way to spend and afternoon shopping after hitting up Costco.

We took the afternoon and took the R27 bus from the hotel zone to Plaza Las Americas to do some shopping and try to escape the crazy outrageous prices in the Hotel Zone. My title says it all it is a big American style mall with a good combination of American and Mexican shops. We tend to avoid designer labels so I can't comment on the designer stores but we found some lovely Mexican boutiques and the prices were reasonable and haggle/hassle free.
