I've visited each time I've been through Cancun (2007, 2011, 2016). I always look forward to it! An interactive, educational and awe-inspiring experience. Beautiful aquariums. Fascinating species. Interactive opportunities with handheld creatures for smaller patrons; and up-close electives with dolphins, sharks and stingrays. Educational billboards, murals and videos about the ethical treatment and care of the creatures... as well as... More

Stopped by the Aquarium at the La Isla Mall. Loved petting the stingrays and watching the dolphin shows. Very educational and reminded me of the Aquarium at Stanley Park in Vancouver. Staff was super friendly. Admission was very reasonable.

This place was about 14USD per person and was a nice way to waste about 45 minutes. It is a very small aquarium so don't expect too much. They have one small touch tank with a few things. It is both indoor and outdoor. Even if you don't want to pay 80USD to swim with dolphins you can still see... More

This small aquarium was interesting and would be great for kids. They had several varieties of tropical fish.

Quite small as an aquarium - but neat. You can make an appointment to swim with the dolphins which was fun. They take professional pictures which are quite pricy. The bathroom by the interactive tank isn't stroller /wheelchair friendly - a step off the ground.

This was my third time swimming with dolphins. The previous two have been in pens in the ocean, the most recent last year at the Moon Palace. There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to both. The pen is much larger and allows for better rides when doing the dolphin food push and dorsal fin tow. I would definitely recommend this... More
