I spent today on a Catamaran - Katherine from Chac Chi Marina, it was a wonderful trip. Our first stop was snorkeling on a coral reef. I had previously bought a snorkeling set, but they already provide fins, goggles and individual mouth pieces, not necessary to buy your own set for this trip. After spending about an hour snorkeling (we... More

Wonderful time. Rough weather. 20-25MPH winds. 10-12' swells. They braved it for us. Harbor s were closed to boats under 40'. (We had to skip a morning trip scheduled for a smaller boat.) We were the only boat that we saw, even though we were not very far off the coast. The captain found the fish, and the first mate... More

We selected Chac Chi for a variety of reasons. They are very responsive to email and phone inquiries. Their prices are high, but their office, managers, captains, and mates work to make the trip worth the price. Our day started slow, (concerned because the weather and currents were against us) but the captain kept pushing to other locations and got... More

Hi, thank you for writting back.. it is very important to us to know about your experience… Usually we have the small 33” boats for share fishing, but if we need to use the deluxe one we try to fill it.. 1 of the clients was only a companion.. About the sailfishing we usually recommend to charter a boat, because... More

I was a little bit leery of a shared fishing trip that I received for going to a grueling time-share presentation, but arrived at the marina at 6:30 and things got better quickly. I was joined by five others aboard Captain Edgar's fishing boat and we traveled for about an hour before beginning to fish. We immediately began catching bonitos... More

The staff and captains are very nice and very well prepared/educated...they know their stuff. The boat was very nice as well. I went on a fishing excursion with my husband and some members of my family. What was supposed to be a 6 hour trip turned into a 2 1/2 hour trip because so many of us were sick. No... More

My Dad, brother and I took a fishing excursion through a charter out of Chac Chi and we had a blast! The Captain and Mates were all friendly, we caught a ton of fish which was a BIG plus! Also, they offer cold Corona, sodas, and water. Afterwards they will cook up or make some ceviche out of some of... More
