First of all, forget about the North beaches (Linda, Caracool) etc - they are shallow and horrible. Second, find a beach with WORKING toilet and shower facilities. These are Chat Mool and Delfines. But Delfines is located far away and there are no food shops around. Chac Mool is in the very center, not so crowded. And, you can swim... More

As with every beach I have been to in Cancun it was stunningly clean with beautiful oceans and there is an OXXO just before you come on the beach.

Maybe earlier it was a great beach but now it's a disaster. Noone can clean it from argaes that drifts here because of global warming, they say. People are dissapointed and they try to find another place to swim. Unfortunately, sargasses are the problem of whole Carrebean sea and now it's difficult to find a shore untouched by this seaweed.... More

We had a car and nothing else to do when someone suggested we drive to this location. Places to eat. Architecture to view. Nice stores. Good photo opportunities. Great afternoon.

Nice beach and it is near restaurants, shopping and bars. There are beach accesses and if you take a long walk you are not permitted to pass through hotels unless you are a guest. The bus can be taken to this beach.

Stunning public beach. Absolutely beautiful. In the mornings and evenings you can really pick out that various hues of the blue water. I wish a camera could actually pick out all the subtle color differences.

The sea is blue and the sun is high. Strong waves though. At the public entrance they've a few public wooden umbrellas and a shower to remove the sand at the free of charge parking lot. Sometimes lots of sea kelp. No market or food around, so it would help if you take yours. No glass bottles allowed. At the... More
