A good venue on a nice beach

A great spot right on the water with cold beverages and a great view. Sit with your toes in the sand and enjoy the sea breeze and great view of that blue water. Great service too.

Since we weren't staying in hotel zone, this was the perfect public beach for us. There were umbrella shades available (for a price, obviously), restaurants, shops, and bathrooms all nearby. We assumed the other public beaches would have those and were unpleasantly surprised (and hungry) when we visited the others. One of the guys working on the beach, Jose, was... More

Be prepared to pay a 10.00 port tax per person when you leave from here for tours. This cost is not included in the toutr prices. Spendy port tax for being a small marina where big ship don't even leave from

Even on a cloudy day this place is beautiful. Water is so clear and bright blue. If you want to catch a ferry to Isla Mujeres this is a perfect spot.

This is a ferry terminal to get to Islam however there is also a great restaurant that we found this past trip to Cancun. Locally owned, fresh fish/ excellent ceviche/ cold beer. Plastic chairs and tables, but excellent service and fish prepared with great flavors. Highly recommend!

This is where you can get a ferry to go to Isla Mujeres which is a great place. You can also just hang out at the beach here where the water is calmer than the other side. There is a shopping outdoor market where all the vendors are trying to get you to spend your money.

Crowded during sailing wait times on the catamarans or ferries leaving to Isla Mujeris. There are a couple decently cheap bars and shops. Not too much hassle. Also available are bungee jumping, catamaran tours, para-sailing etc. Not a bad place to spend an hour, but not amazing either. Bathrooms are very sketchy, and I wouldn't drink non bottled water here... More

Lots of cheaper eateries here.We sat for a couple of hours on a more rocky section, quite pleasant..A bit of a tacky place all in all but not unsafe.Parking is horrible, here very few spots.I did notice a local locating spots for a couple of cars.A fee would have been in order here I suppose.

If you are a hippie and wish to blend in with locals, chill on the beach, and not spend a lot of $ - this is your place. Access by public bus about 50 cents US. Optional restaurants, shops and bath rooms near by. Also the boat / pier to Isla Mujures. ( leaves on eh hour ) about $10pp.... More

a nice beach to enjoy a little bit of time, because it is very small. There's a bar and you can have some drinks while you enjoy the view,
