Mini pools of turtles

They have different species of turtles inside small pool. It just cost a few dollars for admission to exhibition.

Too crowded to my mind. A lot of activities though. The beach is small and a lot of algae during summer.

We took our fresh caught fish from the boat straight to the restaurant at Playa Tortugas. The ceviche was so light and fresh, the whole fried fish was delicious and flavorful. Creamiest Piña Colada I've ever tasted. Upstairs from the restaurant enjoyed a nice and reasonably priced massage. Would definitely recommend!

Likes - some rocks with fish within an easy swim; order ceviche and get an umbrella for a few hours. Bad - small and crowded beach; cacophony from restaurant's Mexican speakers to bungee attraction's American rocks

Nice place just walk few meters to the left from the ferry, there is a bar Xcaret, beach is really nice there and quiet water, ideal for families with children.

I visited all Cancun's northside local calm beaches, and Playa Tortugas was the best by far. First of all, they have bathrooms and restaurants. We settle at the restaurant that had two floors on the right side, once you walk toward the beach area. They didn't charge for beach lounge chairs or bathroom usage. Me and my family chilled here... A nice small strip of beach, with lots of vendors, and some beach chairs for rent. When renting it's normally with a food or drink package. Prices are reasonable.

I expected something better. A bit dirty and the dock doesn't make it any special. People trying to rent you a chair all the time doesn't help either. We left after 10 min and visited playa langosta which was much better

We stayed at the Dos Playas hotel right next to and on top of Playa Tortugas and must say it is a wonderful beach with a slow slope out into turquoise waters which were extremely warm when we were there. It is a beach which seems to be missed by many tourists as it is also the focus for the... More

This playa was amazing because there weren't a lot of tourists and there were small mini cliffs, the water was warm and mexicans visits that beach with their families. Great beach, if you burn, bring a parasol.
