I went on a Sunday. It was full of local families, no room for sitting on the sand beach, almost everyone had a table from the reataurant on the beach. So there was no room if you wanted to sit on the sand. People were walking, drinking and coming in and out. Very very crowded. Nice little shops and an... More

Beautiful clean beach had so much fun in the water! Kids love it they can swim or just jump the waves, enjoyed seeing people do the bungee jump and taking the ferry to Isla Mujeres from here was nice! I recommend shopping for t-shirts, souvenirs, etc. right here because prices are lower and there's more to choose from than at... More

Quite small and doesn't take long to walk through. Still nice to see the turtles up close and view the different types and colours that they come in.

We took the 10:00 am ferry from Playa Tortugas to Isla Mujeres. There were lots of little shops and a bar. The prices were very reasonable and the waiter was friendly. Nice views from the dock while you wait for the Ferry.

This is the area for the ferry to isla in the hotel zone the main one anyways. It has a gorgeous pier which had restaurants and bars on it as well as shops on and around the pier. We didn't stay too long but we did enjoy this place a lot.

Lots of shopping on the way to the ferry. Looks like a nice beach with a rocky cove at one end. Ferry was late.

We were here only shortly catching a boat and then catching a bus. It looked fun, but typical for a tourist pier. Nice views.

I hope this is the right place. This is the bus stop to take the ferry to Isle Mujeres. We stopped for a snack and beer/drinks. Service was quick, food good and beers were cold :)

This small beach is popular rather among locals, co results of their little fiestas are well visible all around. Place is not the cleanest, amenities are rare and you may expect lots of vendors offering mysterious local specialties. Heading to the right, you may find really nice privacy among rocks. These are shelters of numerous big lizards, up to half... More

Went there in 2010 It's a small but nice beach compare to the rest of Cancun beach area. It's like a 40 mins walk from the Cancun strip but you appreciate walking with the sun the palm trees etc
