It's a great place to hang out if you have nothing else to do. We usually hang out with my family here on our last before heading back to the States. Nothing especial or extraordinary.

Went to Playa Tortugas twice on our trip to Cancun. Once was an all day, beach day. Had a great time. Rented a table and ordered food from the restaurant. Since we rented a table, we were given a pass to use the restrooms for the entire day. We had stopped into the store and stocked up on beer for... More

It definitely was not what we expected...no Catamaran, nothing to see when snorkeling ...you had to make a deposit to get snorkeling gear, life jacket, towel and locker...it's a LONG wait in line, then when you go to get it back, another long wait. They do have a decent lunch buffet, and drinks are included. I wouldn't do this one... More

Playa Tortugas is located directly across the street from my winter home. I spend many days on this beach with each visit. Happy childhood memories, very clean, and the tiny restaurants and bars on the beach are very good as well. For the kids, there are climbing rocks and plenty of attractions nearby. For the adults, you can relax under... More

I had heard great things about Playa Tortugas, so we ventured there. We liked it because there were alot of families with children and the water was much calmer than other parts of the hotel zone, but we didn't like that the beach seemed dirty (bottle caps in the sand) & there was alot of algae.

Hello guys. For few days I balance to choose my ticket between Playa Delfines and Playa Tortugas from Cancun and other areas from Cancun. The reason of writing down this review is because I really am convinced that I can find there a nice and peaceful place where to have a great vacation. Besides the underwater museum which is incredible... More
