I don't think I could have had a better diving experience. I got my PADI open water certification there with Pierre as my instructor. I caught on pretty quick so he said I made it easy for him, but he was so good at explaining everything that I felt 100% confident. I couldn't have asked for a more professional instructor.... More

Daniel is a very helpful and friendly person I know in Cancun. He gave me many useful information about diving and places to go during my stay in Secret de Vine. He even lent me a tour guide book to me for a couple days with no problem. Juan, my diver guide, took care of me and my friends from... More

We were told to arrive at 09:30 for our introductory lesson prior to the dive. We arrived and checked in and then no one even some to us until after 10:45. W then had a brief lesson with another couple and were rushed onto a boat. The boat could have comfortably accommodated ten people but we counted eighteen plus the... More

We had them give us a short refresher course as we don't dive much unless we are at the beach and hadn't been diving for 2 years. Javier was great, very patient, knowledgeable, and taught us things that we didn't previously know. We later went diving between Cancun and Isla Mujeres with Javier as our dive-master. He was wonderful to... More

I'm an Advanced Open Water diver from the Philippines with over 70 dives and had the chance to dive with Francois of Solo Buceo yesterday. First of all, Francois is a great, sincere guy and an excellent divemaster, not some guy who'll just dunk you in the water with little concern. I met him at the hostel I stayed in,... More

I am very pleased with the personalized service that my family and I received. For the scuba at the underwater museum, they took the time to make sure that we could all dive together and Antonio even calmed down anyone who felt nervous and gave them his time. Once there, the dive went smoothly and Francois did not pressure anyone... More

I can only say great things about this operation. Dave and his crew at Solo Buceo made for an amazing whale shark experience for my family. One of our group is in a wheelchair, and the Solo Buceo team was highly adept at getting him into the boat and into the water with the whale sharks. During the snorkeling experience,... More

Solo Buceo is a great tour operator specializing in the day trips to see the whale sharks as well as scuba excursions for certified divers. We did both the whale shark trip (twice) and a dive in one of the freshwater caves (cenotes) about an hour outside of Cancun. For both excursions, we were picked up from our hotel in... More

I am very comfortable in the water and have snorkeled for years, but I have previously always declined offers to learn to scuba dive because I am somewhat claustrophobic. I was staying at the Royal Caribbean in Cancun and inquiring about snorkeling tours from the on-site travel agency, Thomas Moore. They always push Puerto Morelos which is a nice option... More

I can't say enough about the dive master Lorenzo. I had not ever done a ocean dive and it had been over 14 years since my last lake dive. I was a bit nervous as no one in my vacation group was a diver so I went to do this dive on my own. Lorenzo gave me a refresher dive... More
