The layout of the course is great and you get to see a lot of wildlife. The course is challenging, but still fun to play. The fairways were bad in some places because of the lack of rain, but it was closed last year and they are making a lot of improvements to get it back in shape.

I played 3 rounds of golf at the Riviera Cancun Golf Course for 200 points per round from my all-inclusive hotel. The course was in great shape and I was treated graciously by the staff. I enjoyed complementary beverages throughout the round and also complementary food and drinks in the cantina following the rounds. The back nine (holes 10-18) was... More

This is a tough course with water everywhere and narrow dog legged fairways. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the Alligators in one of the lakes. Take plenty of balls as the rough is very rough. The course was in excellent condition and the fairways and greens great. The course was almost deserted when we played with only... More

Had the opportunity to play this course through my resort for a discounted "All-Inclusive" rate of $95.00 (after 2). The course is in excellent condition. Greens and fairways bright green and like walking on a thick carpet. BUT - our all inclusive included water, beer and a few chips. Not sure if more was to be found within the clubhouse... More

a little disorganized teeing off...had 17 in group...2 grand in revenue...course was in good shape. Very hot in summer time which made the experience not as enjoyable. Not as appreciative as golfing in Cabo.

Course was in good shape even in July, and the staff was all very friendly. Only a few groups on the course this time of year, so we never had to wait on any hole. The fairways are very generous on most holes, but they seem tighter as they are outlined with mangroves. If you're not in the fairway, grab... More

I played Riviera Cancun golf course for the second time and really enjoyed it. The holes are interesting and the course is in good condition. However, you need a lot of golf balls because the rough is deep jungle with alligators and snakes, so off-line shots are lost! I would play there again - it was fun.

A lovely golf course, but for convenience, if we stayed again we would probably play all our golf at Moon Palace. Also, if you want a drink (accept water) you have to pay for the golf package at $20 per person
