We got a free taxi voucher from the bell captain at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba for this attraction. There's also a 15% off website promo but you can't use both. They also have a van that comes by the GBP at set times daily. We were thinking about biking in from the resort. Really glad we didn't since the distance... more

For $25 US. this is overpriced. In fact everything on this trip is overpriced! This is like a little zoo where you can get real close to the animals. Some animals are loose and the monkeys reach out of the cage to touch you. Parrots are walking around as well as a herd of deer. We did the animals and... more

We journeyed out to Aktun Chen as an additional tour, the same day that we went to Tulum. We are still talking about our fabulous day, seeing the monkeys and the other animals. The tour guide was terrific and we almost had th entire park to ourselves. It was a fine and my family was so happy that we discovered... more

I had never been ziplining before and this was a great first time. Right away your being strapped into the harness and there is no turning back. The guides were awesome and made me feel really safe. The first climb up I was nervous but it got fun really fast after that. The lines arent too high or fast, so... more

We visited Aktun Chen 18 Oct. 2009. We did all 3 tours. We found that purchasing all 3 tours at once was worth it. The alternative, and we saw some visitors do this, was purchase the tours individually. It seems the people we saw had fun on each tour and decided to go on and purchase the next tour. The... more

Be advised they now have zip lines and offer snorkling in a cenote. We only did the dry cave tour which has a subterranean cenote and saw the animals which was very cool, but I wish I had brought enough money to do more things. Our guide was very informative. We had a large Italian group and there were only... more

We made an impromptu visit at Aktun Chen as we had an afternoon free in the area. Had a good time but it was a mixed bag. Had a blast with the ziplines, mostly thanks to the two guys that accompanied us. It was not the biggest and best zipline but we were alone with these two Mexican instructors and... more

A caveat: We booked our 12-hr Coba/Cenote/Aktun Chen tour online. However, our tour operator made a mistake, told us to be there at 7:15 instead of 9:15am. By the time we found out about the mistake, we were not in a very good mood. Anyway, the Aktun Chen part of the trip is last, and by this time all we... more

I wasn't sure where to post my review as it is actually for a day tour covering three sites...so I chose to post a little under each heading and duplicated some of the basics. Hope it's not confusing to you all, but helpful! My husband (42), myself (39), and our two daughters who are 14 and 10 purchased the Coba,... more

We happened to be there on an overcast day. It was too cold to go snorkeling at a cenote - so we thought we'd try this place where you walk through the caves. We were pleasantly surprised by how professional the place and guides were. The park is very clean - even the bathrooms. Pros: lots of animals to see... more
