This is a beautiful church right in the center. Most of the churches are similar, but it's definitely worth stopping in for a look.

The overall structure contains European Baroque, Moorish and indigenous influences.
It is situated north side of the main plaze, but main facade does not face the main plaza. It face its own atrium which is called the Cathedral Plaza. It is built in 1528, then destroyed and then rebuilt in 1693. At the back of the Cathedral is affixed church...

Before we went up we asked whether the Templo was open. We were assured it was only to find that it was closed. The view was not good for taking photographs as there were many trees covering most of it. I would not recommend it to anyone

Small and beautiful town protected by the INAH. You need a guided tour to get very interesting information about the place and its sorrundings.
