We booked a half day trip from Oaxaca. Bobby picked us up and brought us to his ranch. It's a very relaxed and beautiful place, could spend weeks up there. Jason, his lovely and totally interesting son, was our guide on the 2 hours ride through the mountains. We had a very good time, the horses were great and Jason's... More

Mary Jane and Bobby gave us an amazing horseback ride! Horses were very good and super well kept. The trails took us from ruins over mountain passes and past an old hacienda. We saw lots of big birds and the cactuses were fantastic. Mary Jane taught us a lot about the vegetation. Late lunch at their wonderful ranch, best food... More

We had a great time at horseback Mexico. Being novice riders we were well looked after by Mary Jane and Bobby. Was lovely exploring the mountains on horseback. After riding for the morning we had a tasty authentic oaxacan meal. Then we arranged for their private driver to show us the sites around the area. We highly recommend this tour... More

Being a group of two - one experienced rider and one never been on a horse before I didn't know what to expect but what we got exceeded any expectations I could have dreamed of. The ranch is great and the horses well trained and looked after. Horses were expertly matched to rider size and experience and as a beginner... More

We are a small, family run operation and we don't hire outside guides. When you live in a place, you get to know stuff that's privy to the locals. Glad you enjoyed your ride and your time with Jayson. More

i used to horseback riding quite a lot, so i tend to be pretty strict in my evaluation... this place is just the right place to go, if you are looking for healthy horses and a wonderful excursion in the nature! they have several horses, i had 'new style' and she was really a nice horse. the personnel is professional... The horse you rode, Newest Style, is Mexico's top endurance horse. The only one at present qualified to compete in the 120 km. Pan American endurance Championship that will take place in Ontario, Canada August 18 of this year. Thanks for coming out riding! More

Our day exploring Oaxaca on horseback was a joy. The horses were well treated and well tempered. The scenery was epic. We didn't stay at their new guest lodgings but we had a quick nose and they were very high-spec. We had a lunch that was absolutely delicious after our 4 hours of Trecking. Best of all were Bobby and... More

This was undoubtedly the best excursion I have been on in oaxaca. Such a beautiful and different way to see this wonderful state. I was nervous at first as am a novice rider, but mary jane and bobby were the most amazing hosts, the ranch is breathtakingly beautiful and the horses super tame and lovely. I would recommend to anyone!!... More

Bobby and Mary Jane arranged a pick up to take us to the ranch. Immediately we felt at home. We arrived to the ranch to find the most wonderful amazingly built Mexican style lodge. The horses were all prepared and ready to go. We were able to lock up our belongings, before we were fitted with helmets and half chaps.... More

Thanks for mentioning the helmets. While they are not required for adults, we do recommend wearing them. Weird things can happen and as we all know you don't have to be going fast. You can break a lot of body parts and heal just fine, but that's not the case case with our head. Thanks for coming out riding. More
