My girlfriend had a great experience in the balloon recently. The experience was quite enjoyable, but beware most of the staff doesn´t speak English. The driver, who picked us up, was English and of course spoke brilliant English - and he looked like Santa! Great conversations for the morning commute.

There is no better way to see the pyramids, honestly. We had a private balloon over sunrise and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Our pilot Victor pulled out a bottle of sparkling during the climb for us to toast to. The views were like nothing else. The sight of seeing us and at least another 10 or so... More

I don't think there's a more unique way to see the pyramids of Teotihuacan! They picked me up EARLY in the morning 6am from my hotel which is all the way in Santa Fe (the other far end of the city). Picking up all the other people like me in the next few hotel stops. As soon as the mini... More

We have lived in Mexico City for almost a year and nobody ever told us about this new way of seeing Teotihuacan! Came across Volare right here on TripAdvisor and based on the positive reviews decided to book a flight. Our friend was visiting us from Africa and had never been on a balloon before; both hubby and I experienced... More

I took this flight, as I had in Turkey, in 2012. It was not the same experience. You must remember that flights in a balloon are determined by the direction of the wind. This is why the flights are early in the morning when, probably, the only influence on the flight is the earth’s rotation. Thus, the balloons leave an... More
