Located about 30 miles northeast of Mexico city, Teotihuacan was an ancient Mesoamerican community and is the site of many of the most architecturally significant Mesoamerican pyramids built in the pre-Columbian Americas. The Teotihuacan site covers a total surface area of 83 square kilometres (32 sq mi) and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is the... More

This site existed long before the Aztecs. The Aztecs considered Teotihuacan a sacred place and most likely you well feel that this is a special place too. Be ready to walk some distance along the Avenue of the Dead and be sure to take a sweater. It can be a little chilly with the wind blowing. Some of the vendors... More

What a breathtaking place. I went on a tour with a group of people and the tour guide was very informative. Remember to bring some comfortable shoes. You'll need them. Also, the gift shop has nice items for sale, but if you venture out towards the other temples there will be items for sale at cheaper prices. It's a memory... More

We flew with FLYVOLARE which seem to be the biggest player in the area ( 14 balloons ) . it is not easy to find the globopuerto at 6:00 am in the dark ( WAZE is helpfull , othewise ask around at the gas station ) and it is clear they ask you to come that early to be sure... More

This site is awesome. It is about 25 miles outside of town which takes at least an hour with all of the traffic. But once you get there you are in the beautiful country and away from the city. And to top it off you have these incredible ruins that you can explore and climb. The climb is pretty tough... More

We didn't have the chance to go on. A friend of mine did it and he said it was the highlight of his trip. Advertise more ... We would have done it.

My girlfriend had a great experience in the balloon recently. The experience was quite enjoyable, but beware most of the staff doesn´t speak English. The driver, who picked us up, was English and of course spoke brilliant English - and he looked like Santa! Great conversations for the morning commute.

There is no better way to see the pyramids, honestly. We had a private balloon over sunrise and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Our pilot Victor pulled out a bottle of sparkling during the climb for us to toast to. The views were like nothing else. The sight of seeing us and at least another 10 or so... More
