What impressed me the most after knowing Machu Pichu, Xcaret, Tikal and other is the extensión of this site. Aprox 1.5 miles fromth Snakes temple to the Sun... More

Piramides de Teotihuachan is located north of Mexico City. If you are in the Mexico City must go there. Try go to the top of the pyramid and going down step by step carefully. Piramides de Teotihuchan has a big complex. Recommended to go there.

It's amazing so many Americans go all the way to Egypt just to visit pyramids, when within a 5 hour flight from almost anywhere in the USA, you can see some of the largest pyramids in the world. Teotihuacan is no less impressive than Giza, and maybe more interesting for the very fact that so many new-age myths are tied... More

Grabbed a taxi from our hotel and went to the pyramids. A long way from town but worth the trip. We were there on a national holiday so it was extremely busy. Too forever to get up the sun pyramid but it was so cool. Would go again and spend the whole day there. We went in the afternoon and... More

I had worked my way from Merida, Ixhmel and Kaba, then Chichen Itza, then Coba. Each time I was intrigued and loved the experience. This seemed like the icing on the cake, big, wide, spacious, full of history, metaphysics and awe inspiring history of the Olmecs who built it. Having a guided tour definitely makes the visit more interesting learning... More

I was simply amazed when I arrived and exhausted when I left from walking up the Piramides. This is a must see piece of Mexican history.

Get a driver and guide who knows the history and go. Amazing. Put on sunscreen if you go and it is sunny. Be prepared to walk lots of stairs. Down is harder than up. Usual hawkers as to be expected. Over an hour away from Polanco for planning. Will take the best of 1 day. If you can, visit the... More

I was pleasantly surprised on how awesome this place was. I am not normally into the big touristy attractions with big crowds but, although there were crowds, we fully enjoyed this exciting place which is well looked after and preserved. Take the time to climb the numerous main structures, its well worth it for the views alone. The main pyramid... More
