Got a taxi here when we were in Mexico City. Really enjoyed milling around for the day. The food places are wonderful and truly street quality. Had a couple of beers too and some fresh fruit juice. The stalls and wares are all great, and the people were really friendly. Bustling with people going about their business, but it never... More

Lots of jewelry, embroidered clothes, other handicrafts in this very affordable street market (the street vendors and folks in the street market are much cheaper than the one who have proper stalls on a first floor level). Lots of great stuff available here for gifts to take home to loved ones :)

i found this place much too expensive. Beaded bracelets that can be had for less than 80 pesos elsewhere are sold for 250 here. Jewlery is treated like artwork instead of the commodity it is. leathergoods looked to be priced twice as high as other markets. The restaurant was ok, but that is about it. dont waste your time in... More

We used the HoHo TuriBus (Centro Historico & Sur) to take us to Casa Jaime Sabines (half a block from Bazar on San Jacinto Plaza) and arrived just before noon time. Beautiful artwork and 'artesania' in display all over area... many places to eat and many selling booths in about a 10 block area. It great to see all the... More

This place is a must to visit! The captivating atmosphere, friendly sellers . There is a rich gallerys, and traders sitting on the ground. You can have a snack and go to persuade the seller to discount. One had to beg 3 days, but it was worth it!

The market sits on a beautiful square that feels like you're in a small town. It has all types of crafts, including more sophisticated than those you find downtown. I went there on November 2nd, and there were beautiful altars for the dead and musicians playing and singing... It was a beautiful experience. There are restaurants around the place and... More

A perfect Saturday exploration of true Mexican artists, historic sites and shopping in the Bazar Sabado. Treat yourself to the fantastic, authentic Mexican brunch buffet in the courtyard with the best mariachi band around. And be sure to visit the somewhat hidden Teresa Cornejo ceramic gallery right off the Sabado courtyard. This will be one of the highlights of any... More

Located in the beautiful old town of San Angel these markets are well worth the trip. A taxi from the Polanco District should cost you P$70-$80 each way. The cobble stone streets (ladies, wear sensible shoes) are full of character, charm and provide a great backdrop for vibrant and diverse stores which stock everything from furniture constructed from recycled materials,...
