Palace has been well taken care of. Rooms are ornate and beautiful, grounds are immaculate. The National History Museum is housed in the castle as well. Great views of the city, as it is located on a large hill. Set aside 4 or 5 hours to see everything. more

Chapultepec castle is a great sight to see. Not only is the castle historic and been through many phases, it's also beautiful and offers a great view of Mexcio City since it is up on a hill. I recommend taking the train up which boards at the base of the hill. The line for it is long and you may... more

What a super castle - high on a hill in the park. Take the train (10 pesos) up and back as it is a long uphill walk. Great views. Opulence in every room. more
