If you want to get out of the central part of the city and you've already explored neighborhoods such as Coyoacan, San Angel, or the Zona Rosa, it might be time to venture down to Cuidad Universitaria. Take metro line 3 (direction Universidad) and get off at the next to the last stop at Coplico. It's a little confusing, but... More

We met many very friendly students on campus! The Campus is huge, 300,000 students at UNUM! Several interesting buildings and architecture. Also a great place to meet Mexico's best ultimate frisbee players!

It's just a functional pile of buildings apart from the one that you are showing. It does have pleasant green spaces, but for me that is about it.

We were blown away by the expansive Carlos Cruz Diaz exhibit at this impressive museum. If this is representative of the works they choose to display, we strongly encourage spending a couple of hours here.

It is the most important university in Latin America; there's a quiet and exciting mood in the area. There's a lot to see: impressive mural paintings in the Central Library, the foot-ball stadium and the museums and theatres in the cultural area, or you can just walk along. It is a must.

Visiting the campus brings back so many happy memories of UNAM. I attended school here during the 60's and 70's and spent many a day walking around this beautiful campus. Had my first jalapeno pepper here, hidden in a ham and cheese sandwich.

We went to see the student shrines for day of the dead. I was really impressed with the mural on the main building. It was interesting to see and the campus was impressive. I am not sure if I would have made the special trip just to see the university however, as part of this trip we visited another but... More
