This is one of the best kept secrets of Mexico City. If you walk by the streets, you cannot imagine of the magnificence of this building. The entrance is normal, but when you step in, the building is magnificent. You can step back and imagine the people coming in with XIX and early XX attire walking through its corridors and... More

Had a small lunch-- excellent food and a welcome respite from all the walking around the Zocala. Beautiful building that recalls a former age- very European, not so much Mexican. Great Tiffany glass and other Art Deco details

This is an old hotel with old charm and beautiful architecture. Rooms are big and well maintained. With staff you have a constant feeling that they are trying to take you for everything you got. Do not accept any offers of help, it will cost you triple. It's ok to make money but its not OK to take advantage of... More

The best about this hotel, as you may know already is the architecture of the place, but there is something else, the food :D They have a small restaurant there, that faces the zocalo so the view is super nice from there, and the food is not bad at all, a bit expensive I would say for what it is,... I love everything about this hotel. The staff, architecture, proximity to Metro station and many tourist attractions. We stayed for one night and I wish it had been longer. Upon arrival we were told the history of this iconic building. At check in we were met with champagne and traditional Mexican sweets. A short while later we were treated to... More

The menu was average with almost mexican food, I'm mexican and must say that is not the best mexican meals. Only if you... More

Amazing hotel just on the Zocalo. it's not cheap, but it can't be beat for its price - I'd say it's easily the best hotel in the Mexican center.

I have visited Mexico City over 100 times in last 30 years. I stayed many good hotels but by far this is the best. Super nice classic room. Restaurant over looking Zocalo , services are among top of the world as true five star hotel.

For the money, the level of service is superior to any of its competitors. Location is superb and it has that old historic style with a Mexican twist. From start to finish, the staff are excellent. Sergio at the front desk was charm personified. The concierge was so helpful and little touches like a glass of champagne when you arrive,... More
