Incredible interior. You can spend ages inside this church. Taxi there no problem, took bus back as no taxis available. Right beside mine.
A catherdral size church in a small town with wonderful paintings and altars. The view looking down on this church from slightly higher up the hill, with the town in the valley behind it and the mountains beyond that is simply amazing.
The 3 Golden Altars is a sight to behold! Great for flash-less pictures and for studing the architecture of the period. Make sure to take a guided tour so they explain the meanings and symbols hidden in the altars.
