We were in town for over a week and this was by far the easiest way to get around to see things. Traffic in Guadalajara is the worst and leaving the driving to someone else makes it easy. This combines with the choice of tour routes really made the driving stressless.

Really good way to orient yourself with Guadalajara. The tour we took did not include a guide or any information in English, nor do they provide you with ear buds to listen to the prerecorded guide.

I had visited Guadalajara many times, my wife is from the city, and I never thought of taking a bus tour. I found this is a very convenient way to explore the city. If people plan and start early they can have a whole tour of the city and you basically can stop anyone you want. I found the bus... More

A local friend insisted I take the Tapatio tour bus around Guadalajara. Not one for bus tours, I commiserated a few days before walking over to the tour bus outdoor office to get a ticket. The very polite lady named "Magaly" asked me if I was a teacher; I told her "no" but that I was a writer, published on... More

Tlaquepaque was totally worth the 3 hours spent there, enjoying restaurants in walking around to see the different shops. Tonala had very little to do and the shops are more like little tents. The tour of Guadalajara has beautiful architecture in some spots but I felt the filled half the tour with filler (like showing a few malls) to make... More

Double-decker, open-top, London style bus that leaves hourly from downtown across from the Cathedral. Four separate tours go out: to Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Tonala, and Guadalajara proper. The price is reasonable, especially for seniors with the discount. Take one tour then hop onto the next one- all for 1 price. They have headphones with narration in English. If you sit up... More

I never thought I would ever get on one of those silly double decker tour buses like you see in Hollywood but I decided to try the Tapatio tour buses in GDL. As a first timer to GDL and poor spanish speaker I was able to see a lot of GDL without the hassle of driving or using an expensive... More

Tapatio Tours is one of my favorite ways to see Guadalajara and the surrounding environs, hands down. I first discovered them in 2010, and they have only improved since then, adding the new route of Tonala to the original routes to Tlaquepaque, Zapopan, and downtown Guadalajara. To make the most of this opportunity, set aside a whole day. You can... More

If you are short in time, this is the way to go. We went to Tlaquepaque, Tonala and Guadalajara. Beautiful day out!

Great buy once you've settled in. This bus tour takes around Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque, Tonala and Zapopan with a history recording to monuments, homes and city. They offer many stops and city options. You can take 1-4 city tours with many time options. You are able to get off an axplorethe city, shops and restaurants on foot. This tour takes all... More
