This is one of the city's best monuments. It is more impressive when driving by it at night because of the lights and the water feature. Unfortunately, some times the city fills the surroundings with advertisement or the water feature is off which makes the monument look not as impressive as it can be.

Well, I don't know much about Minerva, but I took a double decker bus tour around the city and got a photo of Minerva. I would recommend the double-decker bus ride because I saw things I never would have seen otherwise.

Not much to do there. If one is near, then go take a look do not take a special trip. It is interesting that Guadalajara some how took Minerva as a mascot!

Not too impressive for me... I would rate between 2 and 3 stars. It is at the centre of a roundabout with lots of very carefully planted agave all around and a water feature which adds interest to the place. Just drive by to see it... not worth if you need to get there on foot!

Not sure why, but I love this statue. My favorite in the world since my mother told me it was a girl when I was little. I woman with a shield and sword. What? I like her !! The city does a great job of keeping her and the fountain in great shape. Love her !!

It literally is just a mythological statue of Minerva in the middle of a very busy round about. Nothing more, nothing less.

We found a good restaurant near here, and enjoyed meandering in the sun near La Minerva. Still in the city without being downtown, so it was nice to see a few different things.

This huge metal statue is right out of Greek Mythlogy. A very big daughter of Zues, looks over the west side of this big city!

it is not the "great thing", dont bother to look at it. You will see anyway the Minerva when you go anywhere, because is at the center of GDL.
